How do you know Foo the Flowerhorn is male? They don't speak in any of their videos, and they only ever film their tanks, never themselves. It's a little naive to make assumptions like that based on a simple hobby, no?
Imagine that one shrimp was like, “there’s more to this place. There has to be something up that volcano!” Everyone else doubted it. And tried to discourage it after the first two attempts but it didn’t let up. Eventually it made it up the volcano being the first of its name to do so. A true hero of its time.
But, even though it reached the top, a sense of discouragement filled its little heart. It came searching for freedom, but instead he found out the blood-freezing truth. Everything was an artificial environment. The tiny shrimp had lived all its life inside a test tube, and the tip of the volcano was nothing but the first step of an infinite staircase towards freedom. An unachievable goal. And it knew this. It stood there for hours. Days. Weeks. Thinking about life, about its purpose in this vile and cruel game we call life. Was its only purpose to entertain humans? Was its brief life so irrelevant to the greater biosphere? It couldn't tell this to the partners down there, down in the monotonous and boring tank. It accepted its fate. The shrimp would live the rest of its meaningless days with its brainwashed pals until some day that fish would eat its body, thus ceasing its bittersweet existence. And, finally, it let go of the algae from the volcano. For this it sunk, one more time, into the cold water.

Okay everyone is talking about the shrimp moving the duckweed in the comments but what about the shrimp that climbed inside the volcano OUTSIDE of water?? I didn't even know this was possible
It looked like the shrimp was still mostly covered in the water streaming down the volcano. It must have suspected there would be a source for the water streaming down. Now it faces no food competition. Animals, coming out of the water for competitive advantage. Its like watching evolution in real time!
Gabriel Burns I didn’t know that about shrimp either!! I bet they could crawl up a filter or something and escape a regular aquarium- good to know, since I want to get some shrimp- they seem so cool!!!
Shrimp in the wild do this regularly to forage and find new food sources, they can be outside of water for a fair amount of time. As another commenter said, it's an evolutionary advantage.
I like the name "Vesuvius", after the Roman volcano that destroyed Pompeii I also saw someone suggested "Milos" and I think that's also very fitting!!!

This is such a unique 'show' It's a brilliant little world.
I have never been made so simultaneously “soothed and awestruck”, and had an “icky feeling” at the same time. Super cute video.
And he definitely must be named Vulcan , after the Roman fire god.
YESSS Vulcan sounds great. Also Pompeii would be great.
@@vito3608 Don't forget Nero.....
Nathan DuPhene indeed
Gabriel Burns I didn’t know that about shrimp either!! I bet they could crawl up a filter or something and escape a regular aquarium- good to know, since I want to get some shrimp- they seem so cool!!!
Shrimp in the wild do this regularly to forage and find new food sources, they can be outside of water for a fair amount of time. As another commenter said, it's an evolutionary advantage.
Nathan DuPhene 😂
That shrimp at the top was probably thrilled to have his own pool
like his own infinity pool he mustve felt rich
i enjoy watching these videos in the dark under the influence of thc.
The climbing shrimp is so adventurous. That is all I can say
Super mario odyssey speed run strats
I like the name "Vesuvius", after the Roman volcano that destroyed Pompeii
I also saw someone suggested "Milos" and I think that's also very fitting!!!
I really like milos!!
I think it's better in Italian "Vesuvio"
I think we should name the betta "Salsa". He did seem a little spicy, especially when he saw those red shrimp
I like Salsa
I'm down for salsa or Chile
Good thinking. I would either want Salsa or Spice
Oh that is a perfect name for him!
That’s a cool name 😎😂
That’s a really beautiful bettafish. Love the red and silver markings
I love how much this person cares for each and every species plant and animal and insect and everything between
He’s living his life the way we all were intended to - taking care of other creatures. It’s no wonder we all get so much pleasure watching this stuff, since it’s natural for us to want to do it, too.
Like the other person said: he's like a god. And we are the angels watching him taking care of earth
@@SuperDrestone what do you mean? Nothing wrong with competition in many cases, but who actually wants to be at war?
The shrimps looked like they were dancing with the plants at one point
nerite finally finds out his world is fake and tries to escape
Matrix is real !

Some music you listen, you close your eyes and you feel relaxed. Watching this video is soothing and addictive. Simple yet elegantly done.
I never realized how soothing watching aquascaping and fish swimming could be.
I’m getting so emotionally invested in the lives of these shrimp, this feels like a bittersweet look into their experiences
Just a heads up, be careful that the rock doesn't ever dry out, the bacteria on lava rock can cause a toxic shock when its spores are inhaled
Geordie I think he’s a pro so
@@maggsj8531 Its always a good reminder to be safe.
This is the most beautiful video I've ever watched. Looking at so many things that happens in nature now summarize it on a rectangular screen.
It's not beautiful as a fancy aquarium, but it shows us the beauty of the creatures that was made by absorbing his patience and talents. Here's everything looks chill and greenly.
Thanks for the video
RUclips: “This is what you’re learning about today.”
Not going to lie this is one of the most entertaining thing I’ve ever seen
Yup
And for nine minutes, everything was okay
Amen
Yes. yes it was. This videos was so perfect and beautiful. I am subscribing because God knows I need more of those 9 min of NOTHING matters and ALL is good
I would love to see a bunch of these strung together to make a 10-hour relaxation video. I would screen cast that to my big screen and let it play it all day long.
@@-robo- great idea
i wish there was more to this series/show because i really enjoyed coming home from school and watching this as a 13 year old
Find someone who cares about you as much as this guy cares about his aquarium
Nobody knows why they clicked on this, but they will watch the whole 8 minutes and 53 seconds
I ended up watching 3.... HOW DID I GET HERE
I ended up watching 3 too D: how am I hooked on this?
Shrimp .. They .. Just .. So .. .. .. Fascinating ..
So freaking peaceful, just what I needed in my life right now fr
Lol
He just got in the tank and he's already bullying the shrimps lol
That's the way of the betta.
