I like this Manhwa not just because of its stunning artwork but because it offers a fresh take on the regression trope. The events of the story not only being told through a secondary character but shown through the colorful perspective of a child.
@@That-No-Moon Thank you, I will. Another story with a unique art style I would recommend is "I Became the Ugly Lady"/ "I Woke Up as the Ugly Duckling".
The way everyone laughs as Rita demands the emperor to stop seeing her mom every night. You’re too young to understand what their nights together entail
1. Holy cow the mother is doing a “mama gump”. I feel so awkward when it gets brought up in the story. 2. I super like how the regressing character isn't the main focus character, I think that’s a fascinating angle to take. 3. Gotta be honest I’m weirded out all the characters have heavy makeup/ look like Victorian era dolls… but wow the art is detailed. 4. The little girl is so well written.
@Marrok48 I believe the art style is supposed to be a metaphor for how young children tend to see the world through "rose tinted glasses." The MC is innocent and is unaware of the dark future her mother came from.
@Iamtruerevelation It's hyper stylized, I'll admit, but the story offers a fresh perspective on the regression trope by witnessing the events of the story through the eyes of a secondary character.
@@archive881So I've seen the concept a few times now, it's clearly newer than the normal rebirth thing, but I've seen it a few times before, it's developing into the next thing, I'd say it wouldn't be that unusual if it goes down well

I agree. Also, "the colorful perspective of a child" in this story is refreshing.
Check out "The Siren: Becoming the villians family." Quite similar artstyle and an amazing story.

@@That-No-Moonthat one is amazing
I love how it’s a stereotypical regression manga but the art work and the genius way of showing it from lillicas perspective is so amazing
I love the art its so aesthetic ✨️✨️
Jet black golden hair, milk black skin? Why we speaking in opposites now?
@bunthewiser4330 That's what happens when you let an AI writing program write your narration for you.
I found that made me unable to listen to the narration because it made no sense when looking at the artwork.
