Flour sifting was started when flour was ground by hand and there would be parts of the plant left that needed removal from the flour. It is no longer necessary to sift flour.
In the More section, where we are supposed to find 50 gadget links, there are ONLY 30 links, NOT 50. All links would have been appreciated so I could buy what I wanted. Not helpful.

Yup I remember. I think my 88 yr old mom may still have a nice sized one.
For bread not usually but for cakes and pastries it's still good to sift if you don't have cake flour. It tends to clump in humid weather
