The shows QR puts on 2013 - now DESTROY the shows they played from about 99 - 2011. The 2011 shows were embarrassing and Tate was horrible. Had the keyboard player sing anything that was difficult. Total travesty. I guess if you’re into tuned way down nostalgia at your local bar and grill, Tate is your man.
Excited to see him tomorrow night. Not holding my breath but would love to see him play eyes of a stranger. Regardless the setlist is great on these shows.
I was skeptical myself because of how rough his voice was for a long time, so I looked at a dozen or more performances. It's different each time he does it, it's real. Crazy as that is. One of the most dramatic vocal recoveries I've seen.
@@Neo-Midgar not really a recovery. He is still ALL over the place most of the show on everything I’ve watched. And I wouldn’t put it past him to arrange 5-6 different ones to keep us guessing. He’s a sneaky one. 🤣
He doesn't. They were from the opening band. Brought them out for the encore. The bass player is from Scotland so that would be a kilt. It was a good jam showcasing some young international talent...was a great show.
Wow. This is a far cry from playing with Queensryche. Tate had DeGarmo and Wilton who are brilliant players. Now he is with a guy in a kilt and a keyboard player and like five other guys roaming around aimlessly on a tiny stage. That drum kit and drummer are a far cry from Rockenfield 's talent. Kind of depressing to see Tate playing these amazing songs with C list band members. The crowd was enthusiastic and seemed to enjoy it though
c List band? You obviously have no clue who any of these guys are...great accumulation of international talent. I would see Tate over Queensryche any day. Big drum sets are a thing of the past with technology in smaller venues.
I've seen both and I prefer Tate...this was my 3rd time seeing him in as many years...he is enjoying himself and showcasing some great young talent. Most of his band opened the show under the moniker The Ravens@@mikeb2611
Time to go to the ENT, all the serious critics and commentators on RUclips, most fans agree that the current queensrysche is one of the best live bands and their shows are phenomenal......this is tate (which He is one of the best singers for me) with a troop of children who sound like a cover band...@@mikeb2611

Sorry ma'am but he'd been hitting notes like that all night. Look at a few live shows and you can see the notes are different every night.
