Thank you! :) I think it'll be a less stressful experience as compared to my usual shop updates - and a huge relief for me - as I won't be the one handling any of the selling admin or shipping, bliss! I like 14 too, quite an unusual shape, but I prefer the rims that flare out slightly, I think.
27 is my favorite. I love the way it tapers inwards at the rim, and that it features that ledge which is so indicative of your style. Lovely feature for showing off what the glaze can do. Thank you for the work you put in to sharing your craft. I am very grateful to have access to such a wonderful resource as is your channel while I navigate my own journey with clay.
I love the personalities of 4, 5, 20, 21, and 28 and am struggling to pick a favorite between them. It's always a pleasure watching you work. You are a huge inspiration for me. Thank you for another great video!
All solid choices - the more interesting shapes definitely feel a little more 'Florian Gadsby', don't they? So, maybe I need to lean into those more. Thanks for taking the time to watch, really appreciate it!
I only began my pottery journey 2 months ago. But I have learned so much from the videos you produce and am highly inspired by your work. Thank you for making these high quality videos. They're a world apart from most videos in this domaine. I love 2 and 7 particularly.
23. I love the simplicity of the shape. But also I could get a lot of tea in it and the narrower opening will keep it warm for longer. I like a mug that works!
Wow, how inspiring! I always get sobered up seeing your excellent work Florian. Such a long way to go! Thanks so much for all your hard work. 20, 24, 30 are my favourites.
The steps in the shape really add something don't they? I might start producing those sorts of mugs on a much larger scale when I get back to making properly. And thank you so much - I hope the show goes well, I can't wait to see it all setup, what a relief that'll be.
5, 14, 15, 20, 24, 30 (winner), 31. I wonder why mugs have such a strong grip on us. Their shape, it becomes so personal. I really appreciate the work you do. Thank you for sharing.
I really liked 10 and 26. 10 for the shape and 26 for the ease of hold and its comfortable looking position when being used.Having said this I enjoyed looking at all of them.
Goodness, you’re asking for a hard thing, making a choice. They’re all beautiful and for me I really have to touch a cup or a bowl to tell if I like them or not. Utility wear for me is about how it feels in my hand, and as that my hand moves around. I was drawn to the following,1, 8,14, 28, and 32. Good luck with all the preparation for your show.
Brother, its been about 2 weeks now since I randomly decided to look up "pottery" on YT. I found one of your videos about 3 videos down and watched it. I have since watched maybe 15 videos. And absolutely love the work you do. I don't think pottery watching/buying creating is something I ever imagined I would be interested in. And I have honestly thought about taking it up as a hobby and buying some pottery. I truly enjoy your channel man. Great work and hopefully one buy I can buy one of your pieces of work! And #5 is my favorite
6,12,32 in no particular order. That’s was a tremendous amount of pieces you made, all very interesting. You do love to play with shape, I love it. Can’t say you’re boring.❤🙂
Faves: 1, 5, 18, 26, 30, 33 The mugs with handles low on their sides strike me as awkward to drink from. I'm not sure that's the case, but it is the impression I got. Absolutely love your work, both ceramic and 'videographic' (I'm not sure that's a word...). It's very apparent the dedication and care you put into both.
I am anxiously awaiting your book here in the US! My favorite mug was probably 19, although I loved them all. I also liked 11, 23, 25 and 26 a little more than the rest but would be pleased with any of them filled with my morning tea/coffee. Your work is so distinguished. The amount of time you spend on details is amazing. It's an example I am aspiring towards. After watching your use of the chuck, I have determined that I too must have one, so plan to throw one today. Thanks for your generosity in the potter community!
#6: To me, it has a very simple shape, But then again I love the simplicity of it. I just kept going back to it thinking about how I'd love a cup of coffee or cocoa. Also, it seems like an easier shape to clean after the chosen beverage was enjoyed.
#3 for me. The ones that have a more narrow, inset ridge make me nervous about a "surprise" gush of liquid as I tilt the mug to get the liquid at the level below the narrow but.
15 and 17 took my breath away, but honestly, it's amazing how you came up with 33 new beautiful mug designs! 28, 29 and 31 are also my favorites. Best, Reynaldo
I'm in love with 26. I really like how the glaze breaks over the edges creating almost like an equator around the middle. The contrast between the warm, almost golden angles and the pale green is really appealing to me, it's an effect we see commonly in your work, but I like how it's accentuated in this mug. A runner-up would be 14, I just enjoy the overall shape of this one, and it has a few unique speckles on it's surface that I happen to like quite a bit.
It's impossible to choose just one! They're all beautifully done! Everytime i rewind the montage i choose a different one. As of now 14 seems to be calling out to me.
Hello Florian. I think I saw the cups at least 20 times. And it wil be cup nummer 10. So difficult to choose. 😅 But number 1 on the list wil always be your teckel. 🥰 Have a nice day.
You are such an inspiration to the entire pottery community! Congratulations on your exhibition and book(!) It's impossible to choose a single piece :) I LOVE, 4, 18, 20, 24, and 30 the most !
Really not easy, to make a decission! I prefer 2, 7 and 20. And 30! It´s so fascinating, they all look different and fit together, they have your typical handwriting. I´m a big fan from you!
In terms of mugs, I like #10 and #11 the most. I like the more dramatic step to where it feels like drinking out of a vase. Watching these makes me want to try ceramics again, but stick with hand building maybe with some thrown but not a lot.
Congratulations! I love these mugs and the experimentation with different shapes. I love the ones that slope inwards towards the top (less likely to spill 😂). I’d be also be interested in seeing a video on pottery safety if that’s something you’d want to share. Edited to add 9, 18, and 27 are my favorites!
🙏 thank you. your process is so satisfying. and i love thé care and précision you put into your work. it makes the tiny details feel so big and just makes me so calm when i watch. you are a true artist
#4 would be a complete joy for me for holding and sipping and looking. Holding by tucking the thumb in the groove between the handle and mug. Sipping because the mug is tapered out. And looking at 3 rings where the glaze broke exposing the clay. And an added bonus, a solid base.
Short list of favorites are: 2, 14, 17, 20, 26, 29, 30, and 32. But if I had to pick just one, I think I’d have to go with 30 - I really like the proportion of the handle to the mug, and the placement of the handle. I also like the subtle effect of the glaze pulling away from the edge around the center. But they really are all so beautiful!
It's so hard to pick just one favorite! They all look gorgeous...the ones that stand up for me are #6, #12, #15, #25....hope it's helpful! It's always a joy to watch you work and the lovely end results
My absolute Favorite is #28. The broad base makes for a more stable cup. And I am not sure, but the smaller neck seems to keep coffee hot for a longer time. Some of your exquisite pieces are more like art, thats usable. I really enjoy watching your videos. Thank you
1, 7, 12, 14, 16, 17 30, 31, 33--though I'm particularly fond of 12 and 30. Your finesse and that glaze make them all beautiful. Also, if I were able to pick them up and hold them that could very much influence my choices. Cups are for use and useful things have to feel good in the hands.
So happy you are getting to showcase your work. I stumbled upon your videos and now I'm hooked. So my favorite is 30, 5,7,8,9,10, 13. And so many more, bravo.❤❤
i loved 19::: but i would be thrilled to be able to purchase any one of them! I also have to add, the way you filmed and numbered each piece was GENIUS … as are all your videos! You are the most inspiring potter I’ve ever watched. These days there are so many potters its crazy! I think the influx of potters is due to you making pottery videos look so easy, but they are so much work its incredible! Thank you for sharing your talent, your energy and for making such beautiful and seamless content…. really your whole style in pottery, shows in your film making just BRILLIANT!
You guys are choosing too many favourites!
But everyone is just listing mugs they favour😃
Sorry I just like a bunch of them but if I had to choose one it would be 1 or 33
I like the one named and shaped after Changos.
@@formabianca what is a chango
It's amazing seeing everyone's different choices. Some are definitely more popular than others.
8, 14, 15, 18, 30, and 31 are my favorites but 11 makes me think of my mom's favored belly mugs but in your style and that amuses me
That tip to make a notch to guide the wire when wiring off the pot will be so useful to me. I've never seen anyone do that and it makes so much sense.
Works especially well for plates!
congrats on your solo show, i’m hoping to buy one but with how quickly your work sells i’m crossing my fingers 14 is probably my favorite
Thank you! :) I think it'll be a less stressful experience as compared to my usual shop updates - and a huge relief for me - as I won't be the one handling any of the selling admin or shipping, bliss! I like 14 too, quite an unusual shape, but I prefer the rims that flare out slightly, I think.

Thank you for the work you put in to sharing your craft. I am very grateful to have access to such a wonderful resource as is your channel while I navigate my own journey with clay.
i really enjoy 4 because the shape of it looks fun to hold while sipped, as well as 13 for the same reason (and added bonus of the tapered base)!
I love the personalities of 4, 5, 20, 21, and 28 and am struggling to pick a favorite between them. It's always a pleasure watching you work. You are a huge inspiration for me. Thank you for another great video!

23. I love the simplicity of the shape. But also I could get a lot of tea in it and the narrower opening will keep it warm for longer. I like a mug that works!
12, 17, 27, and 28 are very striking! I love the narrower tops!
7, 15, 20 and 24…gut reaction, those were my faves.
Great job.
I like mugs 20, 28, 30.
Thanks.
All of them are pretty much made and well crafted , but number 6 is my personal favorite , he has a beautifuly cute charm !
Wow, how inspiring! I always get sobered up seeing your excellent work Florian. Such a long way to go! Thanks so much for all your hard work. 20, 24, 30 are my favourites.
1 5 10 and 33 are my favorites. I love your videos and can never wait for you to post
One of the best videos of your chanel, for me 18 and 24
I think #20 is probably my favorite. I love the way the glaze took a sharp angle and softened into almost a curve!
I personally like #28 and #30. Thank you for sharing your creative process. Congrats on your solo showing!
The steps in the shape really add something don't they? I might start producing those sorts of mugs on a much larger scale when I get back to making properly. And thank you so much - I hope the show goes well, I can't wait to see it all setup, what a relief that'll be.
Hi Florian, 7 and 24 are my favorites. Those shapes just appeal to me to most. Love your work and good luck with the exhibition.
Number 11! Probably others, but once I saw how the glaze let through the dark, coal-colored rim and handle, I was in love.
26 Is my fav. It just looks so nice and the contrast on the edges give it soo much character. I love it🥰
28 is my favourite. As a novice potter these videos are a great help and inspiration … many thanks Florian.
Your face. Your face is my favorite mug!! 😘 (Couldn't resist the Dad joke lol) But your pottery is lovely as well 💚
5, 14, 15, 20, 24, 30 (winner), 31. I wonder why mugs have such a strong grip on us. Their shape, it becomes so personal. I really appreciate the work you do. Thank you for sharing.
Restricting myself to only one, I’d pick number 6.
Love watching your vids. Jaw dropping pottery talent. Great narrative voice. Thank you for sharing.
5,9,20,31 are my favourites, thanks for sharing your time and energy to make such helpful, watchable content.
I had too many favorites!!! I love your style and watch all your videos. Good luck on your show!
I prefer mugs nubered 2, 5 and 30. Cheers to Florian getting the opportunity to show at the YSP!
I really liked 10 and 26. 10 for the shape and 26 for the ease of hold and its comfortable looking position when being used.Having said this I enjoyed looking at all of them.

My favorite mug is No 5!!
Thanks for your book and all the teachings I have got from you! With heartly regards from germany Barbara(Babypotter)😊😊😊
They are all good, but 17 is my favorite.
17 and 28 are just about my favourites! but my god theyre all so beautiful, you really have a gift xoxo
#6 Is just so classy! I’d definitely want a set of those!
26, shape, color, love the breaks along sharp edges.
Faves: 1, 5, 18, 26, 30, 33

6 is pretty simple but I like the colours and it would be pleasing to drink out of.
No 11, 15 and 31 stand out to me :)
And thank you for sharing all of this with us! Your channel really got into my daily routine!

My top five includes: 6, 14, 20, 24, 30. Great work as always Florian
5, 7, 11, 15, 20, 26, and 30 are my favorites!
Beautiful work thank you! 4,17 and 26 are my favorites ❤
Great mugs, favorites 6 and 26
Love them all but stand outs to me are 5, 11, 18, 24 and 28 with 28 being my favorite 🤩
15 and 17 took my breath away, but honestly, it's amazing how you came up with 33 new beautiful mug designs! 28, 29 and 31 are also my favorites. Best, Reynaldo

It's impossible to choose just one! They're all beautifully done! Everytime i rewind the montage i choose a different one. As of now 14 seems to be calling out to me.
Obviously 4 is the best one. No shade to the rest, I'm sure they have great personalities
I liked all of them, but 2, 8, & 14 are my favorites. Thanks for your vids.
Hello Florian.
I think I saw the cups at least 20 times. And it wil be cup nummer 10.
So difficult to choose. 😅
But number 1 on the list wil always be your teckel. 🥰
Have a nice day.
I like Nr: 11,12, 14, 19, 22 and 33. I wish a great success with your show.
You are such an inspiration to the entire pottery community! Congratulations on your exhibition and book(!) It's impossible to choose a single piece :) I LOVE, 4, 18, 20, 24, and 30 the most !
Thank you and thank you! Good selection.
19 or 30 I think!! They’re all fabulous ❤
Very inspiring to watch you work! Shapes 10 and 11 really call out to me, I want to wrap my hands around a warm mug of coffee
Really not easy, to make a decission!
I prefer 2, 7 and 20. And 30! It´s so fascinating, they all look different and fit together, they have your typical handwriting. I´m a big fan from you!
I really like quite a few but 32 captured what I liked about all of the ones that stood out to me.
Smiling with gratitude to watch this video. My choice is number 8.
I wish you success with the expo and sale.
🙏❤️🌹

In terms of mugs, I like #10 and #11 the most. I like the more dramatic step to where it feels like drinking out of a vase. Watching these makes me want to try ceramics again, but stick with hand building maybe with some thrown but not a lot.
I loved this video through and through! I am particularly fond of mug 30, but it is a tough competition.
Great Work, my favourite mugs are 17 and 23!
Best greetings Monika

But these ones are going to be obnoxious to wash.
@@coryrain3937taking care of handmade dishes is a labor of love, so washing them carefully isn’t something I mind.
Bottle brushes work well for cleaning narrow-mouthed containers and aren't terribly expensive, @@coryrain3937
couldn't choose a favorite but i did narrow it down to 7, 15, 29 and 32.... but they all look amazing!
Wow great job there very much liked 7 and 17. I thought they were the best and also I think the best to use.
🙏 thank you. your process is so satisfying. and i love thé care and précision you put into your work. it makes the tiny details feel so big and just makes me so calm when i watch. you are a true artist
2, 9, 12, and 33 were my favorites!
1, 11,12,14, 18 and 30 are my favourites but they are all beautiful and anyone would be delighted (and privileged) to own them.
10 & 21 were my favorites. I'm taking a ceramics course at the moment and I find watching your videos to be aspirational. Thank you for making them.
Congrats on the booklaunch and exhibition. Loving the new shapes - 24 is my fave, the curve on the handle is perfection 😊❤
5,15,20 if I HAVE to choose. Congrats on the show!
#27 is probably my favourite, but any of those general type of shaped ones would probably be one I like, hard to tell on camera. This one spoke to me.
Anyone else read his book, and hear his voice as you read it? Amazing read!
Haha! Only I’m a LOT MORE eloquent I. The book! Glad you enjoyed it 🙌🏻🙌🏻
There all cute with different twist of the originals!
What a lovely video and I hope the exhibition goes well for you. I'm keen on numbers 26 and 32. I like a flared rim and a large handle.
I vote for 1, 8, and 22. thanks for sharing!
I favor 10, 13, 19, 26. They are all beautiful.
26 for me! I find it quite representative of your work as a whole ^^
28 & 31 are my favorites (but they are all beautiful
I love your videos!
4, 9, 10, 12, and 24 all stuck out to me as favourites
Faves: 12, 13, 21, 33. And I love seeing your dog 🐈⬛💕
I think 7 is my favorite, but there’s so many pretty ones.
Number 19, though hard to choose!
For whatever reason, every mug that you made with a heavier bottom are what I'm drawn to
I can’t pick a favorite between 12 and 30, both feel very balanced and just look lovely 🥰
So happy you are getting to showcase your work. I stumbled upon your videos and now I'm hooked. So my favorite is 30, 5,7,8,9,10, 13. And so many more, bravo.❤❤

More angular handles might add some extra flair, but it was good to keep them all consistent for the cup shape comparison. Well done!

5 and 9. I have a titanium coffee set that has a cup about the same shape and size as 5 without a handle, and it's really excellent to hold.
