I have never been a pancake fan, even as a child. A frriend made the most amazing crockpot shrimp and grits made with Rotel and cheese, amazing! My first grand's middle name is Rose! Aurora Rose. I didn't see the musical tins today, but I bought assorted German chocolate and a cute doggy sweater for my Pom! I am getting in the Christmas spirit. Two different friends sent me a poinsettia.
That crockpot meal sounds delicious! I haven't seen any dog sweaters at the Aldi here! I have some fake poinsettias. I know they are poisonous and I am afraid my puppies would get into them.
@SimplyHeartandHome all is well here, we are just a bit busy. I love advent and preparing for Christmas, but some days I tend to over do it😄 This evening I'm baking a bread we only eat at Christmas. You use a type of sweet non alcoholic beer in it, together with rasins and spices as cloves and cardemum. Very Christmassy😊 No snow at the moment. It came, and went...oh well, at least the roads are easy to drive on!
I watched all the channel 11 soaps growing up and as a young adult. I quit when my kids were small because I felt convicted. Kids are now grown and gone and I miss the soaps and would watch them now. 😂 I know Young and Restless is still on, and maybe Bold and Beautiful, but I haven't gone back to them. My favorites were As the World Turns and Guiding Light, especially around Christmas. Funny how you remember names from way back. I'm guessing if they were still on, they'd be even worse, considering the way things are today, so I probably would not watch them. Those were fun memories though.
I just love you, Gina and I would ignore people who make rude comments. No, God doesn't care about that cup and he knows your heart and intentions. My goodness, don't we have enough problems in our world without unkind people being rude? Like Thumper says, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything" When I was a young mom I did enjoy soaps, my mom and my Grandmother loved them. Please continue to pray for my hubby to be able to walk again. He is in a rehabilitation facility. Praying for a miracle because our God is a miracle worker and I know he is making a way. Thank you, sweet Gina.

She adoped Jill who years later found out Mrs. Chancellor was her real Mother. Lori, Leslie and Chris were the Brooks sisters and who plays Eric Forester on Bold and the Beautiful played Lance. B&B first aired in 1987.
