The part everyone is cutting can be removed with 1 screw. I was able to remove the carb by unscrewing the hold done on the right side of carb (screw is at base and it slips off) and using a flex head low profile ratchet. Did not have to remove anything else.
Nice video! How could you access/unscrew 8mm bolts at your video of 14:20? I tried to unscrew, but could not use any tools since not enough space. Also, how can you put "Overflow tube" back to the carburetor, seems no space there? (18:03)
Hey buddy, can you show me a short video on what you did with the hose that went to the old air filter unit. And also the other hose that was hooked up.
I waiting on a few parts but I will be finishing the video Wednesday night. The vary first hose I removed on the vary back of the air box is the transmission breather hose that will be cut vary short and a gas cap vent nipple installed so transmission can still breath and keep containments out. The last hose I took off on the air box was the right crank case breather hose and that will be cut back 2-3inches and installed with a small air filter breather vent.

Hi Kris. Thanks for watching great questions. If you watch my handlebar install video at 43:00 I go over breather hoses. I try to get everything before install but that time it didn’t work as parts got lost in shipping…
Excellent video. Do you have the ID of the silicone hose 90 degree bend looks to be at midway point of house. Now sure how to source our silicone hose. Can you bend the hoses yourself to fit the 90 degree. Keep up rickn' the videos. Thanks
Hey Jeff. On the bottom of the comments Jessie jackel and rideordie have measurements on bracket and ID of silicone hose. Thanks for watching and stay tuned!
Wanted to ask you. Why after changing the jet to the 90 it has some smoke coming out the muffler and it chokes sometimes like if it's too much gas. I changed the muffler but I cut the original pipe coming from the engine and I adapted the stock exhaust. Any suggestions on what I should do or should a go one jet down to the 88 I think it is. I've adjusted the screws air and fuel and same thing. Thank you.
If the ratio of fuel is too high, the engine will expel any unburnt fuel into the exhaust chamber where heat will cause it to burn and produce black smoke. Your running to rich…
Hey Christopher! Unfortunately they will not work with Navi. Grom tires are to big… Navi has 90/90-12 in the front and 90/100-10 in the rear factory You are vary limited on your width for the front tire, you could go up to 100, 110 I’m not sure and 120 is a no go. If that makes sense I’m in my second set of tires and getting my set up just right for my riding style, but inventory has been a pain so I’ve been in the works on getting the tires for the next video so I can talk tires…
Well it’s connected at the top of the tank but at the bottom it is not as it’s an overflow tube, if you over full the gas tank it will utilize the tube flowing down and gasoline will puddle underneath the bike…

You can access the carb without removing any plastics by removing the lower bolt on the rear shock while the bike is on the center kickstand.
