A little sketchy..I would have secured it along the posts so it raises up against them, and then can just move right on top once its up there. Can't swing around. btw, winches are not locked, so they can unwind, vertical hoist winches have locking. You can use a chain hoist instead. Just saying, I've used winches to raise things too, so do as I say, not as I do... lol

Man i wish i thought of this when i put my beams up. Mine were bigger though. Would have had to put one side at a time.
