      This will be my first time trying majority of these mints. I’m hoping to try them in recipes.

    Beautiful mint plants! That should also help with some of the bugs. I came across a baked summer squash with lemon, mint, and feta that I'm going to try very soon. My squashes are coming in very quickly. I think mint compliments many things, but the best is a summer salad!

      So true. I haven’t even started my squash. I plan on planting it very soon. Now that I have one of the beds cleared.

    I love a good mint plant too!!! I’ve got apple, mojito, chocolate, peppermint and spearmint as well. I love to use it in teas, cocktails and lemonade during the summer. I’m so glad I’m not the only one that collects mint lol

    It might be the big back in me but I was thinking those would add a good flavor to some ice cream....

    Thanks for the video- pls try orange mint- I have one and it’s just pretty and very scented-you’ll want to keep smelling it. I’ve made tea with it.

    I have spearmint, banana mint and peppermint. I want to get chocolate and maybe apple. They exploded this year. Large beautiful leaves. I’d think they’d be fine in anything you add lemon to to brighten or in place of regular mint. I love mojitos with the banana mint. I’m sure they’d taste great with the chocolate or apple too.

    I’m so jealous! I’ve been searching high and low for apple mint at the nurseries to add to my mint collection. I’ve heard it’s great for tea and blends. Let me know how it tastes.

    Will is come back if planted in a pot?

    • @TexasBluebonnetHomestead
      @TexasBluebonnetHomestead  4 месяца назад

      Yes, it will definitely come back. You’ll just have to move them in a shaded area when the temporaries get about 90 degrees.
