    Amazing, my father used to say “put your nose to the grindstone” when he wanted me to focus on my homework. One of the few tools we didn’t have come to think of it. Keep the videos coming!

    Nice job, I enjoy your videos quite a bit, I’ve definitely picked up a few TTPs from you. The copper rivets were an especially nice touch in my opinion on this build. If I may offer up some constructive criticism? You are talented and knowledgeable enough to know how to run a lathe, a mill, tear things down properly etc, up your welding game man! I suggest you get yourself a decent TIG welder, and become proficient with it. There’s a learning curve of course, but you certainly can get it. There are some incredible welding channels here on RUclips, absolute top notch pro welders showing how they get the results they do. For the stuff you do, a TIG setup would add a whole new element to your videos and quality of your restorations. Just a thought.

      @@DrHutOfHandcraft I polish a lot of brass & to keep the age of the piece I take a well used polishing cloth & without adding fresh polish, vigorously buff the brass. This will only bring out the shine & leave behind the scratches and dents that give it it's character.

    I know lead is poisonous. But why sandblasting something with lead should be a problem? Do you breathe something out of the sandblaster? I don't know, I'm just asking 😅

    • @DrHutOfHandcraft
      @DrHutOfHandcraft  2 месяца назад +2

      Well I have a suction system on the sandblaster but I just don’t want to have lead in the air 😄
      You normally wouldn’t breathe it in but just to be safe I remove lead paint with paint stripper and then dispose it at the special waste
