My father and other males on my side of the family died from cardio myopathy I know from my mom the my dad was very depressed and dark towards the last few years of his life he died at 35 and for me I also had the enlargement of the heart but just last February I was told it was to normal size! I believe now after listening to many of your sermons that it was due to bringing all thoughts to Christ and to cry out to him to change my heart and momentary thoughts! I'm a person who has been dealing with depression for the past 5 years. I'm on antidepressants prescribed by the psychiatrist I've been seeing since 2015. What Dr. Caroline Leaf is talking about in this video is familiar to me as I have also been doing therapy. But I'm also a devoted Christian who put his faith in Jesus Christ and I go to Him in prayer and worship to find comfort and peace when my depression episodes occur. While watching this video it seems to me Dr. Caroline Leaf walks on a very thin ice by teaching you this doctrine of 'The Perfect You'. I don't think she is correct in her interpretation of man as a co-creator as well as man having the autonomous power to change his/her brain/life. In the Christian worldview man has a fallen nature and we need to repent of our sins and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Then, the Holy Spirit will dwell in us and help us deal with and overcome difficulties in life. I believe I need the powerful work of the Holy Spirit in my life in order to win over the depression. I don't believe I carry that inherently 'Perfect You' that Dr. Caroline Leaf is talking about. That's not what the Bible teaches. Be careful when you listen to people like Dr. Caroline Leaf and examine every word according to the Scriptures. God bless you!

I think she means that we have a choice to work WITH God in the way he created us (live in love). We can partner up with him (co-create ourselves with his help) to live the way we were made.
As I see co-creators is partnering with God through the Holy Spirit and he will make us fisher of men ( disciples) as shown in the Bible. Helping others to know and understand how our body works with our mind and spirit. There is no secret what God can do, what he has done for others he will do for you ( co-creator) .

Caroline you do have some good teachings but I have scoliosis and I started having pain from that in junior high I was born to a mentally ill mom there are children born with cancer they don't think wrong and choose wrong to have it manifest in their body there are other generational things that we are born with and affect us before we start really understanding ourselves or thought or anything before were even an adolescent.
