- The Hymne an Deutschland (Hymn to Germany) is a patriotic song which the then-president of West Germany, Theodor Heuss, aspired to establish as the new national anthem of Germany. During the early 1950s prior to the adoption of "Deutschlandlied" by West Germany, it acted as a sort of de facto national anthem of the nascent state.
I find this anthem beautiful but there are no available vocal recordings, so I decided to do it myself.

The piano will be scheduled for a full-scale restoration. It's too old, that's why to be honest I must admit I'm making less videos because the sound is becoming too bland, but don't worry, I'm still making them.

Mal eine Frage bist du Deutscher Muttersprachler? Weil es hört sich sehr akkurat an aber zwischendurch sprichst du das eine oder andere Wort mit einem englischen Akzent aus. Kann aber auch sein, dass ich mich irre. Aber alles in allem Gute Musik und schöne Stimme. Mach weiter so Abo hast du

@@MsJuval Es geht nicht um das Rollen des Rs sondern der generellen Aussprache von Worten. Dieser Dialekt/Akzent hört sich leicht Slavisch an wenn ich das richtig vernehme kann mich aber auch total irren wie ich oben schon ansprach :D
@@MsJuval Als ich Deutsch lernte, sagte der Lehrer, dass wir immer das R rollen sollten. "Sondern merkt man, dass ihr aus England kommt!"
@@sneezyserena Das ist richtig Allesdings machen die meisten Engländer den Fehler das R immer extrem zu betonen R-Buchstaben die am Ende des Wortes stehen werden zumindest beim Endungs-er als a ausgesprochen ( der Roller geschrieben aber der Rolla gesprochen ) und das Endungs-d wird als t gesprochen ebenso wir ist wia, der ist dea, er ist ea. Das ist eine sehr schöne Hymne und eine tolle Melodie! Schade, daß das nicht die neue offizielle deutsche Nationalhymne wurde!?

Sounds like when they sing nearer my God to thee as the titanic sinks....im glad they didnt go with it...the past/ present one ( with all 3 stanzas) is the ONLY one! Being restricted to just the last verse is terrible. Pick up your pride!
