Thank you all so much for tuning in! It took a bit to get these videos made, but I think you'll enjoy them a bit more as the editing is top-notch! Also, what's YOUR FAVORITE EXCURSION in the Yucatan?

Next time you go the beach, go to La Playa de Chelem. No lie, I was in actual tears. Your seats are literally inches from the ocean. The food is good, not great, but being able to eat with the ocean touching your toes.....UNREAL!!!! If this place was in Florida you'd need reservations and they'd be booked months in advance (mind you, if it was in Florida it likely wouldn't have plastic chairs, but it's authentic Mexico.

Alex, we celebrated our 37th anniversary at an amazing boutique hotel (The Mayan Gypsy), very near Silcer Beach Club; we highly recommend it. Also, La Antigua has dedicated beach space with great padded chairs , palm tree shading, and very good food and drink. Next time you're down check out the new El Museo del Meteorito (Meteorite Museum), between C.66y68 on the Malecón. See you this winter?

Thank you for the great information! And yep, we'll be there a little in the winter, so we can run into each other for sure.

We have been to Progresso, ate at Crabster’s, and walked the Malecon. I have been to many ruins, but have never been to a Cenote. We will have to do this. We want to get a list of Pueblo Magicos and start checking them off when we move down next year.

Sounds like a plan to me, and one trip to the cenotes, you'll be hooked! It's a little spooky at first, but it's such a cool experience. Only one more year for you?! That's so cool!

Do you have to go to Cenotes to get to the restaurant?

I don't believe so, but I'd definitely call ahead to confirm cenotessantabarbara.com/ . We did this as part of a whole package, so it was just part of the journey. I would recommend the cenotes though!
