I bought the geotrax grand central mega set brand new from a local seller for $50. It had the full grand central set, aero train, 2 push trains, bridge, crane, clock tower, and lots of track. It was my best find ever

What's the reason for a locomotive having a bell when it already has a horn/whistle?

The bell is for when a train begins to move. No point in continually blowing the horn - kind of a warning for those nearby not necessarily near a crossing.

Please make another geotrax large layout before Christmas. I had geotrax growing up but I sold it all for $150 AUD in 2011 to buy the 2010 LEGO cargo train. I’ve regretted it ever since. Now I’m thinking about purchasing used geotrax lots on eBay to recollect geotrax. Used lots are way cheaper than NIB items for geotrax but each used item still cost over $200 AUD. FYI non Thomas wooden railway wooden train brands aren’t knock offs. Brio, maxim, Melissa and Doug, big jigs, and obrium just to name a few

I think it was a good sacrifice to sell it to get a LEGO train. Years ago before youtube I had try selling a few Geotrax items on eBay - the prices have really come down on it since it was discontinued except the Disney Cars and Batman stuff.

I’ve often thought I should do a quick clip before each time I go in a goodwill and when I come out. Most of the times empty handed

That GeoTrax lot contains most of the Timbertown Railway (I can tell by the hill and the locomotive, which I beleive didn't have the remote tender outside of ToysRUs)
I also beleive the RC trains were able to go backwards was when they added figures. I think they did a good job of keeping those figures in scale with the trains. The bobbing smoke is a feature of the Flip Track days, which Fisher-Price/Mattel made prior to GeoTrax (and I had three whole sets of, compared to only two circles of GeoTrax, all of which have cog rails in the middle)
you should definitely do a video of your entire GeoTrax collection
