- Still being at home and rehabbing my ankle, I've handed the keys to the channel over to Theo Erlangsen! So you guys are in safe hands until I get back on site in a few days for the big event! But for now sit back and enjoy the build and poor Theo testing some of the worlds biggest jumps all on his own! Best get the bleep machine out!

I'm now an old guy who is beyond stoked at the feeling of hitting a small table or short gap jump. Is what it is, i'm afraid of breaking my 40+yr old body. It must be the most amazing feeling to send these kind of jumps. Wish i was a young man without fear again!
In the same age range and feel the same way but we only live once so make those tables and gaps count :)
Guy, I feel the same! Used to race back in the 90's when MTBing first got started in SA. Only recently got back into biking and so want to charge like I did back then! Haha! But I have to respect my bodies age and I know i just can't do it. But watching these lighties hit those big jumps gets me all amped!

Y'all have more creativity than when I was a kid. Take a piece of wood couple of cinderblocks and you had a jump. We weren't even smart enough to jump and land in the grass.

So sad - I was at Boschendal until January 15 and had looked to see if i can take a view to the Darkfest area, but didn't see any ad hoc options.
Is that generally possible? Is the area open to the public?
