And does it matter anyway if the markets are not convinced?
Today the prime minister admitted she 'should have laid the ground better'.
And axing the 45p tax rate for the highest earners, that, she said, was 'a decision the Chancellor made' without discussion with the cabinet.

I saw a homeless person today and I decided I had to help them out somehow. So I went to the richest part of town and pushed few hundred quid through the letterbox of the most expensive house I could find, so that money would “trickle down” to the homeless person I saw earlier on today.
This is and has always been Tory policy.

That's their trickle UP policy. They're a bunch of thieves. Since they have taken as much as they can, that the BOE has to print 64 billion, they are now doing everything to lose the next election, and leave to Labour to do the dirty work. The Tories empty the treasury, and Labour has to enter a period of austerity, taking money from the poor to refill the treasury.

Farmer Truss and Kwasi the farm hand were leaning on the fence looking at the turkeys in their field. "They are looking very thin" observed Kwasi and added "it's a shame they will all be gone by Christmas". "I know" said farmer Truss" but it's their own fault, they voted for Christmas". The issue for the last 12 years has been that corporate profits have been growing healthily, the wealth of the richest has been ballooning, and none of that money have been finding its way back into investment or higher wages. That’s why productivity has been stagnant and ordinary people saw the biggest fall in living standards since the napoleonic war even before the “cost of living crisis” started. The rich and big corporations have been doing better and better year on year for a decade. Why would adding slightly more money to their already overstuffed bank accounts have a different effect now to when Boris and May and Cameron did it? When you see that what you’ve been doing for the last 12 years hasn’t helped, what kind of person decides that the solution is to keep doing the same, only harder?

That crisis blew a huge hole in public finances and allowed the Conservatives to sell the line that the Labour party had destroyed the country's economy. This was very effective and got David Cameron into No10. Once in number 10, Cameron, Osbourne and Clegg embarked on a huge austerity program which led to a fall in growth, fall in household incomes and reductions in essential services. These factors were then blamed on the EU and EU migrants which paved the way for the EU referendum.

Had no idea what opportunities it actually presented and 2. Again, the disinformation which furthered their misinformed voting, leading to a wider fan base of the Leave movement. Again, why was it even a conversation to begin with? It divided the nation, dropped the pound by at least 30pc when first announced, and continues to have devastating effects on the economy, trust in the pound, and SMEs with European suppliers. Further public spend cuts were announced yesterday, with the NHS being at the centre of that, yet a further 350million or some emotive number was touted to be put towards the NHS by leaving the EU.
