Key seems to be a genuine fan so I am so happy he got to experience this. Conan is very cute, I love his stuff. It must of been slightly overwhelming for him as the korean kpop system is truly so different from the American one. I feel like American companies are so lazy and do close to nothing for their artists besides loan them the money for their projects and provide contacts for the marketing aspect. In Korea, the company takes care of EVERYTHING. While Kpop has it’s shortcomings, there are a lot of wonderful aspects about it. It must be nice as a korean act to know that your company takes so much responsibility in backing you up and proving you with everything. Also how convenient must it be to have the recording studio, dance studio, set rooms for videos and photoshoots, the corporate aspect, etc all in one place? Amazing. Not to mention inhouse vocal coaches, choreographers, writers and producers and so on. Western artists spend sooo much money on renting recording and dance studios, hiring all these other people themselves. If the problem of artists being allowed to express more of who they really are is fixed ( something slowly happening as we continue to see more and more self produced groups ), kpop is going to be amazing.

Key seems to be a genuine fan so I am so happy he got to experience this. Conan is very cute, I love his stuff. It must of been slightly overwhelming for him as the korean kpop system is truly so different from the American one. I feel like American companies are so lazy and do close to nothing for their artists besides loan them the money for their projects and provide contacts for the marketing aspect. In Korea, the company takes care of EVERYTHING. While Kpop has it’s shortcomings, there are a lot of wonderful aspects about it. It must be nice as a korean act to know that your company takes so much responsibility in backing you up and proving you with everything. Also how convenient must it be to have the recording studio, dance studio, set rooms for videos and photoshoots, the corporate aspect, etc all in one place? Amazing. Not to mention inhouse vocal coaches, choreographers, writers and producers and so on. Western artists spend sooo much money on renting recording and dance studios, hiring all these other people themselves. If the problem of artists being allowed to express more of who they really are is fixed ( something slowly happening as we continue to see more and more self produced groups ), kpop is going to be amazing.
