😄😄😄😄😄🔥 NO ONE would blame you, Hon... You know there's an "underground" hardcore group of Queen fans out here who swear by the mantra: "Milton Keynes Bowl Is The HOTTEST Concert EVER" (Thus why it's actually called "Fire At The Bowl"😉) The VERY BEST versions of these songs are (under the so-called radar) also from Milton Keynes: "SOMEBODY TO LOVE" (Whereas Montreal = performance perfection for the film cameras, Milton Keynes = Uncensored Fun Freddie Bashing Piano Keys WITH HIS BUM) "ACTION THIS DAY" (The ONLY performance on video; a DUET w Roger/Freddie) "FAT BOTTOMED GIRLS" (FREDDIE. POLE. DANCING. I honestly DON'T KNOW how you would manage to get thru that one, tho!🤯) "PLAY THE GAME" (MORE of Freddie BEATING UP his poor piano keys😁) The Whole Concert Intro: "HERO"/"WE WILL ROCK YOU" Fast Version (Freddie running up onto/hanging off the sides of the stage scaffolding, yelling at the crowd) AND The improv where Fred sits on the edge of the stage, announcing "C'mon, I'm gonna teach you how to sing like Aretha Franklin!"🥰
Doe never apologise for loosing your mind over Freddie he was and will be forever a true genius 4 gods of music never to be replaced by anyone thank you for your enthusiasm have a lovely weekend x x ❤️❤️
Yes, Freddie is definitely the focal point of any QUEEN performance, but honestly, John Deacon is the focal point for me. He is such a professional, so calm and steady. He was such a class act as well as an incredible bassist as well! Thanks Much! ☮
Milton Keynes is the wildcard concert. Film footage is not as clean & sharp as Montreal, but Freddie is operating on another level & speed! Audience pumped him up. When John & Freddie join forces, dance baby dance. You'll get a kick out of BACK CHAT video (and the look from John to Freddie - total admiration in the moment).
Thank you for this...”Staying Power” doesn’t often come up for a reaction...you really liked it..have you reacted to “Action this Day” from the same concert? Also Freddie danced with The Royal Ballet and took part as a model in “Fashion Aid”, this is adorable as he plays the part of a groom, Jane Seymour is the bride. Both of these are on RUclips🤩
Another fantastic reaction video Miss Doe. You should react to the opening of the concert aswell.....The Hero/We Will Rock You (fast version) it's blistering stuff. Hot Space is so underrated, I'm sure you will enjoy it. P.S. I was at this Milton Keynes concert.....just pure brilliance from start to finish.
Love your reaction about Freddie. I totally agree he was hot. I also how you talk about all 4 of the band. So many forget John as well as Roger were key to keeping the rhythm of the song going.
No need to apologize for gushing over Freddie, I feel the same way. I never get tired of watching that hot, sexy, gorgeous man sing and move around the stage. Queen is so talented. Action This Day is another great one, oh, and Fat Bottom Girls. Oh heck, the whole concert is amazing. Well, it's Queen live, how could it be any other way. Love Freddie so much. Thank you Doe.
Hot Space is on another level. I can't understand why this album is so underrated. My favourite songs are Staying Power, Cool Cat and Las Palabras De Amour. This album is fire.
I think it’s an excellent spin on a track that I actually don’t like originally, the studio version sounds completely different and more like something you’d hear at an 80s disco. Once you put the Queen rock spin on it, glorious! Great vocals, great instrumentation.
The production work on Hot Space killed the album, it's just so lifeless. The live versions of the Hot Space tracks are how the album should've sounded, they're so much fuller and heavier.
Doe, This is the most amazing dancing I've ever seen - Freddie is totally enjoying himself!! All of Milton Keynes is amazing. Thank you for your great reaction! Anne
I heard Queen as a Kid and I swear to God they opened the Gates to an Intense Interest in all kind of Genres! From a Educational Standpoint Queen is the Perfect Band for Kids! They Keep you Open Minded and Curious about Music. I like “Back Chat” and “Body Language” 😎from Hot Space! Check that OUT! 😄
Nice T shirt! I think the live versions of the Hot Space tracks are underrated-- they have much more of a funk/rock Rhythm compared to the dance sound of the album versions
I loved this reaction dear Doe, thank you so very much. Nice track, but you had no idea how good is Somebody To Love in that concert, it's just magnificient. Love you Doe❤️
John is actually playing rhythm guitar here, specifically a 1981 Fender Telecaster Black and Gold. Brian has said John was/is (do you ever forget?) an accomplished rhythm guitarist.
This is Hot Space. There is an excellent dvd of this concert available on Amazon and eBay. This entire concert is high energy and Freddie looks and sounds great
Now you need to listen to the Hot Space album version and do a comparison. This one is heavier and fast and blows the Album version out the park. This one always knocks my socks off!
Hi Doe. Yes Staying Power is from Hot Space album. You will enjoy this album. Even if other fans frown upon it. The album does also contain the song Life is Real (song for Lennon) also has some great tracks on it. One live show stalwart & few songs that on there own are great songs. Thanks for yet another great reaction video look forward to the next one xxx
Let's see "Madam" Lambert do that. (Ha! As if...) Freddie absolutely smashes it time and time again. He's got the moves and he's got the grooves. I miss him so, so much. The voice, the stage presence, the persona and the all encompassing ultra-phenomenal man who is Mr Freddie Mercury. 👨🏻⚡️
I'm one of those Queen fans who doesn't like the Hot Space album, but I love the live versions of the songs they played. You should do a reaction to this concert, it's a really good performance, esp Somebody to Love.
Great reaction i really like hot space album love TEAR IT UP I saw queen in 1982 hot space tour at elland road leeds utd football ground i wish they would have filmed that concert they is hardly no video film or pictures of the concert if they are they are very rare a brilliant concert Joan jett and heart support acts.
no not the only concert, the only tour though, i saw them 3 days before this at ingliston edinburgh and they done staying power that night aswel but i was at the front on brians side so never noticed deac's playing rythm until the dvd came out 30 years later or so! 👑✊🇬🇧
I love the Hot Space album, it’s my favourite Queen album and my favourite songs are are Back chat, Body language Las Palabras de amor and Under Pressure. I think that Hot Space is one of Queen’s best albums.
Darling, what you are experiencing is a reaction I have named the "Freddie Effect". - I still get it and it can masquerade as heart palpitations, severe shivers and trembling, weeping uncontrollably and other psychosomatic symptoms. Just an example: Just uploaded a new vid and I had to literally take some meds because the anxiety took over even though I had listened to that particular song all week, due to some errors that occurred during the making. --So, with that said: Consider yourself normal, the gibbering comes with the territory. 😆
Okay Doe Darling … You had me at Milton Keynes 🔥 SUBBED 😃💙 My favorite Queen concert!! You gotta check out SOMEBODY TO LOVE (powerful) PLAY THE GAME (playful). I love your reactions!! 👑
See to me the live versions of the songs are soooo much better than the album songs! I really don't like the album other than 3 or 4 songs. Also shout out to John Deacon playing rhythm guitar live!
PUT OUT THE FIRE along with UNDER PRESSURE are the more Queen "Queen-ish" songs on Hot Space But for that buzz of the 80s, it does the job for me - esp. Freddie in club mode.
The bass is not Deaky in this one, it's synth bass by Morgan Fisher. Deaky plays the funky licks and riffs on a Telecaster, there's even a solo duett with Brian, you can hear it, but it's just not shown because why would anyone be interested in John Deacon playing a giutar solo?
John is actually playing a guitar in this song, not a bass. If you listen to the start, he's playing the high parts and Brian plays the lower bits. Throughout the song he has some great licks!
Like alot of people, I was not impressed with 98% of the Hot Space album. I didn't really like the studio version of "Staying Power" but, as usual, the live version takes it to a whole different AWESOME level! My favorite part of this video is Freddie in those tight, white jeans. 🥰 I love your breathless reactions to Freddie. LOL! Always enjoy all your reactions and look forward to seeing more in the future. Love from Texas, USA!
Awesome rendition (better than the album version). As I've said before, quite a few tracks on Hot space are an acquired taste, but live presents them in a new and way better light and driving spirit. Never apologize for being yourself in your adoration for Queen and Freddie's spirited moves onstage!
Dear Doe,great React.😂❤️🌹Millions of People feel the same like you.(Including me of course)😉You see Freddie and your Heart bumps up.And yes you melt..🔥🔥🔥I can watch Fred the whole Day sing, talk, move, dance.Freddie is the GOAT and nothing can top this ever.Fred is hotter than Hell..in and out.👨👑🔥❤️🙋♀️
Everybody disses this album, but it has some really EXCELLENT Queen songs on it. This one ROCKS! I mean this is basically Funk-Metal! Want the ultimate diss bs Queen album , it isn't this one. I would say The Works is oversaturated keyboard:y stashes of shit, with some Brian May gems on them but even those polluted by those damn 80's keyboards. At the time of those albums Queen basically wasn't a band. Freddy was off to Mercury privately, just living the crazy life he had created for himself. A sad one at that. It was a weird time to be pansexual at that time - it wasn't a coined idea at the time that a person can be what Freddy called "Trysexual, I'll try anything at least once", and Freddy had surrounded himself with slimey vampires who fed off his success and were "yes" sayers to his cocaine-fueled craziness. At that time you had to be basically either-or homo or hetero, and Freddy was surrounded by people who forced him into that superficial, drug addled lifestyle, when he was more which made him very depressed and distanced him from his mates and the first love of his life, Mary, who he loved more than any other human being. Queen came back after the Live AID performance, and then then the brilliant return to form with "A Kind of Magic".
Oh, girl...welcome to my beautiful my space Freddie. Whew....he is absolutely gorgeous in this one...You need to watch the whole show!! warning to you though....it is sexiness personified!!
Milton Keynes IMO is a much better gig than Montreal, they were in the middle of the Hot Space tour and playing great! This was filmed and originally aired on channel four and released as ”Queen on fire, live at the bowl” in 2007, John deacon is actually playing a Fender Telecaster guitar for that specific song, Morgan Fisher played keyboards and there was NO bass! Great live song, much better than the studio version.
It would be fun to see you react to the series that they posted if Queen. Each episode is a little over 5 minutes and there are 50 of them. Each one is a bit of history of Queen from the beginning to current. I really enjoyed it. Here's a link to the first one. ruclips.net/video/avI0iq-fRHQ/видео.html
I apologise in advance for being an absolute gibbering mess of a human after seeing Freddie Mercury dance. 🙃
😄😄😄😄😄🔥
NO ONE would blame you, Hon...
You know there's an "underground" hardcore group of Queen fans out here who swear by the mantra:
"Milton Keynes Bowl Is The HOTTEST Concert EVER" (Thus why it's actually called "Fire At The Bowl"😉)
The VERY BEST versions of these songs are (under the so-called radar) also from Milton Keynes:
"SOMEBODY TO LOVE"
(Whereas Montreal = performance perfection for the film cameras, Milton Keynes = Uncensored Fun Freddie Bashing Piano Keys WITH HIS BUM)
"ACTION THIS DAY"
(The ONLY performance on video; a DUET w Roger/Freddie)
"FAT BOTTOMED GIRLS"

"PLAY THE GAME"
(MORE of Freddie BEATING UP his poor piano keys😁)

(Freddie running up onto/hanging off the sides of the stage scaffolding, yelling at the crowd)
AND
The improv where Fred sits on the edge of the stage, announcing "C'mon, I'm gonna teach you how to sing like Aretha Franklin!"🥰
Doe, I don't blame YOU, AS Freddy Mercury was VERY good LOOKING and had an AMAZING VOICE.
@@marciebulsaraorcutt Hahahahaha!! We’re that close 🤏 to getting Milton Keynes tattoos 🔥🤣 OMG! ❤️🔥❤️🔥
We're all you when we watch Freddie dance. You're amongst Queen fans, we understand.
Feel the same ❤
The whole concert (@ The Bowl) is awesome ! You should check it out.
'Somebody to Love' from this gig is a must-see for every Queen / music fan. I absolutely recommend it.
YESSSS - I’ve been requesting that specific performance FOREVER!!
Absolutely!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@debramoore7513 yes different vibe on it to the Montreal version

Brings me so much joy to watch them perform 🎶 Have a great weekend too 🥰
Well Said!!!!😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Yes, Freddie is definitely the focal point of any QUEEN performance, but honestly, John Deacon is the focal point for me. He is such a professional, so calm and steady. He was such a class act as well as an incredible bassist as well! Thanks Much! ☮
John actually played rhythm guitar on this song , the only Queen song John plays a guitar on live other than his bass .
Yes my only wish is the footage was better quality 😫
Hot Space is a very underrated album.
@@DoeDarling There is a good DVD out there.
They also had problems with Freddie's wireless mic.

I love your reaction!
Greetings from Germany.
Danke! 😃
I was lucky enough to be at this concert...just Amazing.
Ahhh that's incredible!
I want to download your memories!
Play The Game is really good from this concert, so passionate
Hot Space is on another level. I can't understand why this album is so underrated. My favourite songs are Staying Power, Cool Cat and Las Palabras De Amour. This album is fire.
I loooooooved cool cat!
3 great tracks you mentioned. But on my copy of the album it also contains Under Pressure
These songs sound so much better live then they do on Hot Space.
It's "underrated" because it clearly is the worst of all their albums. It's a great album. Just _their_ worst.
We know you LOVED Cool Cat!
This band had Staying Power. Freddie is off the scale. Haha he’s a monster performer!!!!!
Your not the only 1 who liked this album, QUEEN had many faces and moving with the time.
I think it’s an excellent spin on a track that I actually don’t like originally, the studio version sounds completely different and more like something you’d hear at an 80s disco. Once you put the Queen rock spin on it, glorious! Great vocals, great instrumentation.

I like “Back Chat” and “Body Language” 😎from Hot Space!
Check that OUT! 😄
Never noticed it before, that bass is on the synth and a tape, but John is playing guitar. John is playing the funky chords. That was really cool.
Not a tape, bass synths were played by Morgan Fisher.
Loved the reaction!,
Love ur passion !

I loved your reaction to Staying Power, it has a great beat and there are no accurate words to describe Freddie Mercury he was great
Amazing Video! 🎉 Ahh Hot Space is just great! I love the Song Back Chat from the same Show!
Milton Keynes opening with "The Hero" (you wear the correct Shirt btw 😉) was the most energetic opening for me ever. You definitely need to see that.
You’re ready for ACTION THIS DAY from Milton Keynes!!
Wow! I’ve never seen this! I’ve become more of a Freddy fan in the past few years, Doe. This is such a different side of his music! Love it! Miss you!

Deaky didn't played bass on this track, both him and Brian does double duty on guitars.
yes I realised when watching it back 😄
