That is the way a Business Class should look and be in a one aisle plane , Lufthansa and British Airways are you watching this?
This isn’t business class it’s first class.
Jason Becker Domestic first class is the same as international business class.
@@HackThePlanetNow It's deemed a business class but the product is comparable to a first class experience. JetBlue likes to call it the "Mint Experience," and it's truly in a league of its own in terms of its designation as a seat class and as a product.
Lufthansa and BA needs to fix their international business class before they fix their other business classes xD

I really enjoyed this trip report. Thank you for not doing what so many trip reporters are doing these days which is excessively using the hyperlapse function at every opportunity and adding annoying dance/club music. I appreciate the fact that you let us simply enjoy the flight in real time just as you did! jetBlue has an excellent inflght product and I look forward to flying them more in the future. Again, you did an excellent job with this flight report!

I thought it was expensive for a domestic flight (even if it was coast to coast) but damn! that was a good plane! great seat, amazing food, great snack/IFE options and nice staff. Jet Blue can have my money!
Mint changed the transcontinental market back when it was first introduced. The seats on OAL were easily over 1000 bucks to 2k for something like this.

Flew Mint once and I have to say it was great for the price. Only issue I could see (didn’t happen to me but I can see it happening) is that every other row has two seats. If I had the aisle and was laying down I would be angry if the window person had to wake me to go to the batheroom.
I’d agree that’s something I’d also hate... but American delta and United all have 2-2 seating onboard their aircraft... so at least in JetBlue you have a slight chance of not ending up having to climb over/get climbed over
That's why companies make business and first class seats with dericted aylle access

Emirates first class is $40k
if you take jet blue mint Seattle to Boston at the start of November, price drops to 400
I would pay 600 to get a trans-Atlantic journey with BA on economy LHR - JFK and Jetblue 600 for First Class in a a321.

Love the engine revving up at 11:16. JetBlue is my go-to airline in Boston. Love them, and the A321s are just beautiful. Look forward to them getting more, and riding them across the pond.

I just paid $400 for one way fort lauderdale to los angeles, got a credit from a flight cancelled due to the hurricane so I ended up paying $260 for a suite at Jetblue mint!! :)
Excellent report!! JetBlue reminded me of Quantas.. Same level of Service, and open snack bar for all passengers during cruising altitude......

With the end of one of my favourite airlines, Virgin America, I will now almost always fly JetBlue between New York and Los Angeles and San Francisco. Still it's not exactly a bad thing that mint is now my favourite option
JetBlue is one of the best planes company in America. They have a really good customer service, and you won’t believe the times they have even changed our seat when traveling. They even upgraded them to mint because there was an overbooked flight with the premium seatings.
The first 20 seconds I gave it a thumbs up. Shot very well. Quality of video was awesome!!
I rode a new A321 on Jet Blue to from JFK to LAX back in 2015 and I loved it. I was in economy class but there was plenty of legroom and the larger screens made it a comfortable flight.

I just flew the MINT flight last weekend from SAN-JFK and it was AMAZING!!! I only spent $500 for my flight! I'll definitely be flying JetBlue again in the near future and in their MINT section too :)
I luv watching sam chui or jeb brooks review flights, but for me im not sure why silent reviews like this is the best

How do you manage to go 40 hours without sleep? What was going on?
Since this was the same day as the inaugural, this would be my third flight of the day, and the second coast to coast flight, and since I can't sleep on planes, I ended up going 40 hours with no sleep.

Nice video! The portions for the tapas seemed very generous, especially considering JetBlue is a low cost carrier.
they were enough for the 5 hour flight, especially since there is also a self service bar, and two other options that you can order any time during the flight

JetBlue is probably the best airline in the US. I've flown them several times and every time they have been fantastic. I haven't yet tried their Mint product but I will certainly make a point to, it looks excellent! American, Delta, United take note. This is what First/Business Class domestic should be, not the rip off lame product you offer.

I tried this about a year ago, also in one of the “suites.” I liked the level of service and the food, but I wasn’t crazy about the seat. With my arm resting on the armrest, I found that the controls were too sensitive-I accidentally kept changing my seat firmness and recline. Also, during recline, the seats in the suites “slide” into the space between the two seats in front of you. It feels like you’re in an MRI tube from the waist down.

Correct, not a 'word' but perspective/context would put in the realm of "anyhoo". aka: slang. Totally acceptable in casual conversation, no?
This Mint service from JetBlue appears to be quite good. Of course I would have liked to get your opinion on seating by the window and the accessibility to the aisle if indeed there are 2-2 seating across. Also, don’t you think the simple meal service took too long to serve? I would expect initial hot towel service to begin about 20 minutes after take off, not 40. Beverage and meal no later than an hour after take off and dessert at the longest 1:25 after take off. Food did not appear to be plentiful as shown on this video. Finishing a meal service 2 hours after departure seems too long and on this flight, it doesn’t allow for too much time to relax and sleep after dinner. The Mint refresher drink and blue chips appear tasty but additive LOL.
All in all for $600 dollars, Mint appears to be a great economy premium service with a nice seat.

Wow. That looks like a really good cabin design. The quality and privacy provided all look top notch. What was the price? $600 US? To fly transcontinental in Australia (Sydney to Perth) in Business you’d be looking at around $2500 AUS for a 5 hour flight usually on an A330.
JetBlue does offer the cheapest product, if you fly American/Delta/United, you'll be looking at prices starting at around $2000 USD one way, with an inferior product to that found on JetBlue.
Modern commercials are so entertaining! WHO WOULDN'T want to fly JetBlue with an UNLOCKED snack case and no waiting (some flights waiting for stuff can seem like an eternity.) But noisy engines?
