yes, unfortunately this happens in some of the Mate 20 pro and p 30 pro models. Here's the solution to it. First, insert the old battery and turn on the device. also plug in the charging cable and then disconnect the old battery and immediately plug in the new battery and the device will recognize it when it restarts
Please help bro, I have huawei P30 pro and it is bootlooping. Always stuck on logo screen, the problem is i don't have the original battery, the battery is already replaced what could be the possible solution for the phone to accept the battery?

I have replaced the battery in my huawei p30 pro. It turns on but restarts every 20 seconds or so. It is stuck on the logo screen. The battery is fully charged and works in its original phone, but when swapped into another it no longer works. Is a battery coded to the phone??

@@SBRepair what if i don't have the old battery? what can I do to make the phone recognize the new battery? Unfortunately, i bought a huawei p30 pro which was bootlooping and the battery was already replaced by a mate 10 or 20 battery, now i dont have the original battery
similar issue, it is horrible company practise to do this -_- in my case the original battery started bulging out so it had too be replaced, but the repair costs where so insane here i figured i'll replace the battery myself only to come across this very problem ... I'll try the trick and hope it works. how did you hot swap it fast?, i manege to disconnect the other ribon cables if i try to hot swap the batterys.
Yo he comprado dos baterias y ninguna me ha funcionado. No enciende. Vuelvo a poner original y si enciende. Las dos compradas las pongo y no enciende. Pongo cargador y sale logo de huawei que se pone y se quita pero no enciende. Total que he tenido que volver a poner la original

@@SBRepair acabo de cambiar la bateria con el USB puesto y sigue sin encender el movil. Se quita y se pone lo de Huawei pero no enciende
@@SBRepair działa do momentu resetu. Po resecie znowu pojawia się logo huawei. Czy jest jeszcze jakiś inny sposób? Robię tak jak piszesz. Na starej baterii podłączonej na kablu w ciągu 2sekund podmieniam baterię i potem resetuje. Przed resetem pokazuje ładowanie i mogę rozłączyć z prądu.
