5:53 You are completely right, I feel like some of the judges missed it also, cause Osis was only doing that beat to prove that his kit/style was "easy", instead he countered a counter, which is fine since he kinda did it better, but still there is no point...
Agree with you, Osis showed great battle moves with the disses and more sound and arrangement variety for the final. Julard made it close with his power, crazy counters and stage perfomance but I would vote Osis also!
I've got to say it's my favorite battle, not because of skill, complexity, or other BBX metrics. I came to see a battle, and they gave me a battle. I always thought it should be more like a rap battle since they used to go so well with each other. It's not toxic; it's a battle tactic to get in your opponent's head and rattle them. Sometimes you don't need to be the best if you can get the opponent to make mistakes. That's still a valid strategy, in my opinion.
The reason Osis lost (I assume) is because his 2nd round began with one of his songs thats over a year old.. I feel like they put a lot of weight into Freestyling, crowd reaction and energy this year, Osis using a written that a lot of people have heard was risky, he knew that.
I'm curious now. You said Remix round Nightmare seemed like his weakest round but it's one of the reasons he won the small final and youre still mimicking it. Is it because you like it more than you thought or you think it's a good routine to help you with your inward bass? Enjoying your reactions
Yes I also think both Julards rounds were lacking material or "substance" like what Osis said apart from the counter, they all sounds similar as his previous rounds. I was really surprised that he won this. Is winning GBB only requires freestyle and loudness now? Lol.
@@Mr.malhotra674yeah he’s repeating his signature sounds but look at his structure and use of those sounds. Some rounds were throat bass, some were vibration, some were inward bass. He used 10x the amount of sounds as Julard
Re-using written material that a ton of people have already heard may sound good to you if you hadn't heard it before, but the judges definitely have, this is a battle.. imagine a rap battle where the guy just starts rapping one of his songs from his album.. it's not gonna do very well. Look up Osis - Conceal. you'll understand why he didn't get many points for that last round.
Bruh ONLY freestyle? Freestyle the entire round right there on GBB stage with crazy counters and fluent flow TWICE(2nd round against Kaji)? That is pretty solid champion material to me. No hate btw❤peace
idk i feel like remix is getting robbed and all just because the sound system was bass oriented so his sounds weren't hearable live, like the squeak with low inward bass wasn't hearable. what i mean with that is that i dont find this gbb as cool as the others even tho there are both remix and osis that are my 2 favourite styles with even wing not passing round 1 cuz of the sound system. its sad to see people reacting and everything has to be different for variety like if there isn't and in this case im talking about remix's rounds, he has a lot of variety but with this dogshit sound system he had to change his rounds with similar inward bass patterns with the squeak. i think that this is not fair at all and even for beatboxers like wing that i love so much, look at abo ice too. i really dont know, this year this gbb let me down a lot and it was the most hyped, but that's just me so yeah ggs
I agree the sound system wasn't great this year, but to say remix of all people was disadvantaged by the "bass oriented" sound system is pretty funny to me
@@mvttyyxdhe was at a disadvantage because of the sound system though. What he meant but that is remix has a lot of unique sounds that he pairs with his basses. His meow squeak wasn’t audible because his bass was so much more powerful, even though he is normally audible. So his bass was too much and every other sound was inaudible. Julard won because his basics are full of bass too

I’m happy someone gets my point hahahahahaha, don’t get me wrong it’s good and it hit like a truck for sure, but missed point imo yes.
I've been thinking the same thing since the beginning
the laugh from julard was (he explained in the SBX stream) that his meat was touching osis's leg and they had an awkward glance about it
😂💀
Bro what ?💀
I don’t believe this information 😂
@@yaswede sorry but that's true :)
Bro whaaat 😭😭😭
osis needed one more special sound moment to win…or just used his bin round 💀💀💀
Loops are coming 28th january, still a little to wait, but very excited to watch that with you champ! 🔥

Fully agree with you on both points!

Do you plan to continue such frequent uploads, yaswede from belgium?
If I can magic content out of thin air then yes

I thought he had finished his meal, won't analyse the video while eating, I was happy about that.
Then he just took out a plate of fruit ...
I’m prepared.
Wtf ain't no way the first round u give to osis WTF😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It’s called personal opinion 🤷🏻♂️
No he’s right, no way I gave Osis the first round 😔
If osis improved his attiude on the stage just to bring the attention of the crwod and judges juuusssstttt he could wonn this battle
