I cant describe the feeling I get from watching this but it reminds me of a simpler time. There is nothing as free as being out on your bike in the streets.
Best crash I've ever seen. Thanks for posting this. I could never find it. And trying to explain how he flipped over a bumper is somewhat difficult. Haha
If you're talking bout the beginning crash it didn't get hurt at all the left pedal took all the force and broke the cage and his toe was badly injured
frisco and la are different cities, you have different drivers, weather, HILLS, things to do, etc, sf just happens to be very beautiful and hill city but los angeles has its flow with geat sun shine weather on your neck and a cool breeze, you can go from downtown full of pigs and thieves, to the hills of hollywood, to west hollyweird, to the beach, to beverly, the list goes on, so much variety and everyone who rides looks out for eachother, like one big family. and sf should be the same with la.
@Sherblock fixie riders can reach high 20's due to pure muscle and practice, tour de france riders only reach low 30's by shifting gears and gradually making their way up to the speed they want. i may have mispoken but I am comparing muscle and strength between the two.
@Sherblock ok i agree on that but not the cigerettes and I still think that fixed riders are more badass than riding with all that complicated gears and brakes
Seeing so much hate in the comments of every fixed gear video I watch makes me sick. Categorizing people based on what type of bike they prefer is a pretty ignorant thing to do, and it takes away from the purity of just cycling for fun. By hating on fixed gear riders, or any other form of cycling, you are only showcasing your own narrow-mindedness. Just have some respect for fellow cyclists and their preferences.
@breadbutt okayy it is silly but i agree some riders are fast but can u guys drop it its kind of been awhile i thought u guys were done with this arguement
@coolaspire1 tour de france is for people with one testicle. fixies are for people that do stunts, tricks, and swerve in and out of traffic. road bikes are for people that are too weak to ride so they change their gears. i am not hating on road bikes, but it is obvious fixies are more hardcore.
Fixed leaves the rider with more control vs freewheel. If a road cyclists brakes fail they’re in trouble. With fixed you can skid, slow down, backpedal and slow down with a brake. Cornering is also better with a higher bb and shorter cranks on track bikes.

Closing shot is bliss
This need to be sayed to so many people.

i love how the bike just stays on the car after he hits it.

@IElectroFTW Good question! I think the HED 3 was ok, seems to me like the cranks/pedals soaked up most of the force.
BEST INTRO EVER!!!!
Still wondering if that HED 3 cracked in the intro.
This makes roller blades look bad ass!
Love the intro! lol
first clip is the best.
The crazy part isn't that he rides down hills so fast. It's that he rides a fixie in a town with so many UP-hills. Now THAT's nuts.
People who ride Fixie with FIXED gear take more risk and understand better whats going on around them.. There for they are better riders.
hahaha funny start xD

Spend less time worrying about how other people are riding and just calm down and go ride and enjoy yourself the way you want.
