The Chaos Bots trying to outright kill not just Hailey and Scott but Kristine and A.C. almost makes me remove both of them from my list of future masterminds. Unless one of them is willing to kill their younger selves to spare themselves the suffering of the climate change apocalypse, the force sending them has to be someone else.
I noticed a pattern here. The Chaos Bots only seem to show up whenever Hailey is in a more life-threatening situation. They don't just wanna slow down her progress, they want her outright DEAD. That's why they showed up specifically at the carnival & the escape room but nowhere else.

I don't know about the rest of the world, but I've spotted a couple of suspects that could be the creator of the chaos bots. Though I'm still not sure why they'd want the world to end.

Anyone else think the chaos bots are designed by a future AC but it's either a rouge a.i or somwone else who is a worshipper of a chaos god of some sort?
I know who the dumb, yet intimidating villain creating the Chaos-bots could be. Someone Hailey would never suspect. The fact that there is a Beta robot and an Omega robot in the future tipped me off that there must also be an Alpha robot, which is why the Professor gave Beta and later Omega to Hailey to counteract what Alpha is doing. Alpha is probably also working for Hailey's enemy in the future to make the evil Chaos-bots that are sent to the past to kill Hailey Banks. The answer will surprise you. Are you ready? I think the series finale will reveal that Scott Denoga becomes Hailey's enemy in the future. See? I warned you that you would be surprised! Why would Scott do that? Well, it is because even though he was happy to do all of those things with Hailey in her book's to-do list, and she gave him thanks for helping her become San Diego's Young Person of the Year, Scott never had any of the smarts or success that Hailey has to do what she did after then to make a decarbonization device. Hailey is celebrated for solving climate change and achieving other great things, but she no longer keeps in touch with Scott anymore. They kissed at some point, but they never stayed together. Scott was really mad after Hailey broke up with him and told him he was holding her back, so he feels very upset and insecure over the realization that Hailey was too smart for him to keep him around for long. With the help of his sister Becker, who likes to blow things up and break things, and A.C. Aychvack, who likes to best Hailey in everything, Scott becomes the most evil genius in the world to show Hailey he can make as much history as her - by having Alpha make Chaos-bots to send to the past to change what she already did. If they die together, she will never be successful enough to leave him.😱
