They are surprisingly chill for just creating the greatest film of all time ... crazy ... they are like normal peoples
She's probably really nervous, that's all. Charlie F*cking Kaufman, you went inside my head before making your movies, that's the only explanation why they're so personal to me. I might be pretentious to think I have the right interpretation of SNY, wish someday I could talk for hours with you just about this movie, my favourite of all time.
I wish I had someone that looked at me like Catherine looks at Charlie at 1:00
Happy Birthday Catherine Keener!
This comment section is all over the place.
Lmao yeah
this movie should be compulsory for every 18 year old on earth, like, if you don't watch it, you get a slap
18 years, and then again every 5 years for the rest of your life.
dude im 14 and it's my favorite film ever.
Why so?
@@DevyanshBahri better to find out it isint all about you before it’s too late
I couldn't disagree more. I don't think this film is for most people.
Am I the only one that thinks that Kaufmann is Caden?
He always writes himself into his movies. The whole film is basically his writing process. Not a bad thing, it’s a actually my second fave film of all time. So like... that says a lot
@@paullogan3008 what’s your favorite?
@@KM-pm6qe It’s such a beautiful day by don hertzfeld. And synecdoche New York isn’t my second favourite anymore. It’s A Clockwork Orange
@@paullogan3008 thank you, I’ll try to find it. Did you only recently see ACO for the first time, or just recently gain a new appreciation?
You’re not the only one, I’ve thought that too. However guess what, Philip SH has answered that question when asked in an interview! Here it is: ruclips.net/video/67GraqN0dF4/видео.html at 1:26.
Deepest movie ever
Keener is so good she scares me.
the interviewer isnt the brightest
WTF is she talking about?
Haha wow, she really just opens and closes her mouth doesn't she.
you can see where kauffman got his inspiration for the actors in his movie
Hey ! They make a nice couple ! She's into him. C'mon Charlie. Make a move !
pallid56 he’s married and we all know he has a crush on her. His character admits to it in Adaptation.
@@robonick3607 awesome, I hadn’t made that connection!
this interviewer is really annoying
They don't work here anymore if that's any consolation.
She is very direct. Wow, what a presence. Wtf was that guy jabbering on about. He was surprisingly inarticulate for a writer. Maybe you ought to start analysing things mate
You can't expect a great writer to come across as somehow profound or wise in an interview, it's like judging Picasso on his proficiency at pictionary. Judge his work not his behaviour.
You clearly know nothing about creating art, symbolism in art, or analysis.
He is talking about the death of he author. His analysis is as correct as anyone else's.
