I miss the Old Jollibee valentine ads like Kahera, Vow, Crush, Date, Perfect Pairs and Choice. Yung deep and very unique yung story. This one is just ok for me but still thanks to Jollibee for making this commercial.
Onga eh. Honestly medyo kapos na yung "we wanna be together, pero *COVID* " Ni-recycle lang ng "600 Days" yung plot ng "LDR" from last year's series.

True. Mas oks yung mga old kwentong Jollibee.
Bad material. I mean, not too bad but still bad. The acting was mediocre, very unnatural (esp. the Korean). The girl shouldn't have spat Korean words knowing he obviously speaks Filipino. It turned out cringier than it already was. I get that you're pointing out those who were romantically obsessed with "dream Korean oppas" are dreaming a dream next to impossible, but it was quite drably and lamely presented. The kilig factor was there but unutilized. Could've been done better.
this is what happen when you fetishize a culture, which I notice a lot of Filipinos do with white Americans and recently, Koreans because of Kpop and Kdrama. You only want to date them because they are a certain ethnicity and not for who they are, it is unfair to that person because you put them in the pedestal of "dream guy" when they didnt ask for that, and you do not bother getting to appreciate them as a whole person.

Cringiest Jollibee commercial ever :// like the Koreaboo vibes really jumped out in this one wtf bro. This is the main problem with the Kdrama/K-pop craze within the Philippines- it’s one thing to appreciate an aspect of our neighbor’s culture, but to romanticize and fetishize the people is deeply problematic. Di’ ako naguumpisa ng gulo dito kaso lang ito talaga ang napapansin ko sa karamihan ng mga Pilipino na mahilig sa Korean pop culture sa totoo lang

I’ve been watching jbee’s valentine series since 2017 and so far this is the weakest episode. Sobrang cringey. Specially i have this former officemate na bigla bigla na lang magko Korean out of nowhere or during our conversations. I have other kpop/kdrama fan din naman pero di naman sila ganun and even sila nagki cringe pagnagko korean siya bigla bigla

Hmmm. So that means the guy has been lying to the girl all throughout their online English classes just to get the attention of the girl. During their self introduction, he could have shared that he has been staying in the Philippines for so long and he even knows Filipino. Geez.

This comment is going to get me a lot of negative reactions. I might be one of the few people who found the storyline not as endearing as the other Jollibee commercials. To me, it came off as Pinays being materialistic. Granted the ending turned 180 degrees, it still left me kind of empty. For now, I want to hear it from the point of view of Koreans. Their own perspectives after watching the commercial.
