    Thank you for showing hinge mechanism. My display was glitching when I was moving it (changing angle) and after dissassembling and doing proper wire 'management' it works fine now

    Thank you for the extensive video, is there also an instruction to replace the keyboard?

    How do we replace the keyboard? That's an important component and you're not showing that in your video...

      @@SPECTTRE13 after I've managed to drop the laptop on the floor, the keyboard works periodically. Sometimes days go with nk issue, and same times enter, back space and arrow up cease to work. I had tj get an USB keyboard

    I have an HP Dev One. The hinge is loose. Replacing the hinge looks like an absolute nightmare!

    So no keyboard? Im guessing this whole POS has to be taken down to its last screw to get to it as its probably part of the top cover 🤬

      @@HPSupport I thought so, but why? All other models its like 3 screws and some FFCs, 5 minutes tops. Keyboards seem to have the highest fail rate caused by user or otherwise and constantly have to be replaced why make it so difficult in this model when previous models are simple?
