It's a vertical android headunit purchased from Phoenix automotive. They have them available from Aliexpress as well but wanted to purchase in the states for support however I would tell you, support from Phoenix sucks. I do love the headunit but it does come with some headache with the built-in backup camera not functioning properly. I ended up installing an aftermarket rear camera for it.
You have to make sure you have the same type of module (red). There are different kinds and you have to make sure the correct wires are spliced together and not touching other wires. There has to be contact between those wires
I didn't make a video of the Tesla style headunit because the ones from Phoenix and the ones I found in RUclips was sufficient. I'll try to find those videos and post here.
Thanks for your comment. I personally don't like using the built-in sensor as it can be inaccurate sometimes. I prefer checking my tires on a regular basis and mainly trying to avoid seeing the light. Also have plans to switch the wheels and tires soon so this could be a temporary fix.
Nice fix! As for the snarky comments from nay sayers... just because we drive Lexus products doesn't mean we need to spend big bucks. Some of us will not even go to Starbucks...🤑
Perfect tutorial. Took me less than 5 minutes. No more TPS light on my 08 GX!
Awesome! Glad to hear that.
You sir are the man! Not going to lie, I panicked when the light didn’t go off… i forgot to plug the module back in 😅. Works greats, thanks again!

Question: what head unit do you have? Do you recommend it? What steering wheel do you have? It's really cool!

Why did you cut the blue cionductor?
Where did you learn which wire was which?
Honestly, they're trial and error and from watching other videos but not specifically for the same module I have.
How did you get the steering wheel black?
Replaced with after market steering wheel I purchased from eBay
mine came back on faintly and then I un plugged it and it stays off now 🤷🏻♂️
I’ve tried the same but the light become dim, didn’t off completely did I missing something???

I supplied the wire correctly but the module color is green
Then this instruction would not work for you. You have to search for similar color module instructions
What radio did you put
It's the Tesla style headunit from Phoenix Automotive.
Do you have a video of you installing the Tesla interface?
I didn't make a video of the Tesla style headunit because the ones from Phoenix and the ones I found in RUclips was sufficient. I'll try to find those videos and post here.
You can use this video instead, it's pretty thorough - ruclips.net/video/f7en910G49k/видео.html
@@iPhonevlog how are you liking the Phoenix head unit?
what about lexus ls460
I'm not really sure about the LS460. You can check if it has the same TPMS module box on the video.
Does this TPMS bypass work for 2008 Lexus RX 350 as the wire colors are different?
I'm not sure. If colors are different then it probably won't work.
@@iPhonevlog Thanks for your reply.
Did you figure out which wires it was for the RX350?
But if you start the engine still will came out
No. This turns it off completely.
You are driving a Lexus I believe you can effort just change a sensor and not damage the car wiring

Haha. Love the Starbucks reference. 7/11 coffee good enough for me.
DIY repairs saved the cost of Labor. Brings down the cost of owning a Lexus.👍 Nice
I spent over 2 grand trying to fix this issue 4 sensors at 200$ a pop a wheel bearing and a bent rim nothing has fixed it it always comes back on
