I struggle to improve my drawing skills. I want to learn how to draw accurately what I see from life. What methods should I practice to learn how to draw better? I have read that some teachers like the triangulation method while others think this method prevents learning good drawing skills. What is your thoughts on this method? Thank you.
The triangulation method teaches you a way to make shapes fit in their relationship to one another. It requires entirely too many hoops to jump through, so I prefer methods that teach your hand to follow what your eye is seeing. I have exercises in my book, Finding Freedom to Create, but you can also go to our channel's homepage at ruclips.net/user/inthestudioartinstruction, click on the magnifier icon to bring up the search bar, and type "drawing" , then hit your Enter key. This will bring up Tips for learning to draw well.
@@IntheStudioArtInstruction thank you very much! I did not like the triangulating method-stopped my rythme and movement. I agree. I will check out your book and website.
