Ooh the mocha coffee cake sandwich is on my bucket list! My favorite thing from Thai 7-11 is the banana lepan, spongy cake with a light banana custard. Perfect anytime treat
The amazing thing about this is you guys not at all feeling like you compromising the taste for convenience at all. That's the reason why other countries want their 7-11 to be like the Thai version. They should hope that CP will brought 7-11 brand from the Japanese in the future or maybe they can make their own brand of convenience store of their own.
Appreciate you guys don’t rate mediocre food more than 7. Some people rate some food higher than it deserves, which doesn’t help. Standard too low. Been to Bangkok over 10 times. Will go again in a few months and plan to see if your taste is similar to ours😊
Hi Chovy Family, when we were in Phuket, we went to 7 11 every single day 😊, just couldn't stay away LOL, I miss there delicious coffee, toasties and cashew nuts. 😋😋. Great Vlog 👍🏻, missed Mr. Handsome in the vlog ❤, Lovely Weekend Guys. ❤ 🇿🇦
Just found out one of my favorite dishes at 7-11 in my neighborhood, yep I'm introducing Frozen French Fries straight cut(Sunny Day Brand)available with small pack, but you have to cook it yourself at home, you will be amazed after tasting the golden brown French Fries finish with your own skills!
My fav are the ovaltine roll cake, the taro cream chiffon and the chocolate molten cake, u'll surely love them i guarantee 😁 btw, there is a trick and a better way to enjoy the butter bun of the after u brand by putting it in an oven or air fryer (not microwave) at 180c for about 5-10 min, it will completely change and elevate the taste for u, imagine the butter inside the bun oozing out gloriously like a liquid gold.. thank me later 😂
Which branch of 7-11 is this? I don't think the one beside my hotel here in Phrom Phong has this much variety especially the made-upon-order Pad Kra Pao...
Between BTS Ekkamai Station and Ekkamai Big C. There’s 2 so just make sure you go to the one that is NOT next to the massage parlor. We noticed there are some 7 Elevens that have a lot more unique items than other ones. Hope this helps! 😉
That was a good diversity on your food choices to try. I hope Thai 7-Eleven lived up to your expectations. It's nice that you spent some money on western foods in there but I have to tell you that the oriental foods naturally are a lot tastier than western there. However, I would maybe want to take the comparison one step further. After having spent over 9 years studying in the US, I have had the pleasure of eating a lot of 7-Eleven goodies there. Now that I'm back in my home country, Thailand, I have been eating 7-Eleven foods for lunch practically every day for the past 13 years. I can say that there are a few items I definitely feel our 7-Elevens can use from the US version. This would be the chili dogs and pizzas. I admit that while neither one is of utmost quality, they are still more than adequate to satisfy my urge. This is especially true for the chili dogs. The pizza dough is a little hard, kind a resembling packaged (frozen) dough. The chili dogs could be beefed up more. Having said that we have nothing on them here in Thailand. I wouldn't want to compare oriental foods for obvious reasons. I also appreciate the snacks section in the US way more than here because I feel we put too many of traditional Thai food flavors into snacks here in Thailand which end up being more on the sweet and spicy side for my own liking. Finally, I like our own selection of chilled (refrigerator) coffees here in Thailand than in the US.
Thanks for sharing your experience! Loved your comparison. Personally I haven’t tried the chili or pizza 🍕 but used to enjoy slurpie 😝, chips and nuts. Btw, do you ever go visit the States? I wonder since you spent 9 years there, maybe you miss certain things that you can’t get here in Thailand. We miss good tacos 🌮 from the States…
@@ChovyTravel Yes, I've visited NYC (Queensto be exact) twice in the past 10 years. To be frank I utterly feel at home in Queens. I love the streets I used to skate board on, the parks I use to hang around just sitting on the chains lining the sidewalks, basket ball courts I use to shoot in, the small brick houses, the Queens Public Library, and I can go on. For food, I miss White Castle, Roy Rogers, Wendy's, and how can I forget Chinese Shasiew Fan and the Roast Duck Cantonese Style. You just can't beat Cantonese Chinese in America. Believe me, we got nothin on them either here in Thailand. I also miss shoping at oriental supermarkets in the US as well. All this is why I enjoy you guys' exploring Thailand and offering your opinion so much. You guys are insightful and great fun!!! Keep it up guys!!! Enjoy Halloween in Thailand. Don't forget to catch dinner at the Chocolate Ville Restaurant. You'll have lots of fun!!!
We really have to visit NYC one of these days. Definitely on our list 😃 That’s awesome! Thank you so much for sharing! We appreciate the kind words, love and support 🥰 Will have to check it out, thanks!
I don't know if you've been to the Vegetarian Festival at Yaowarat Chinatown. As far as I know, it's only until tomorrow. So I'd like to recommend it because it's only held once a year. The really important festivals, aside from Yaowarat, are in other provinces. Mostly in the South, such as Trang, Phuket, Hat Yai. Other regions only have them in Nakhon Sawan, Korat, or Nakhon Ratchasima. But if you're not in Yaowarat Chinatown, I'd recommend the South because in ancient times, Chinese immigrants often settled in areas along the sea.
@@ChovyTravel I found this video that you might want to learn Thai massage by yourself or you can massage your loved ones. And the instructor speaks good English. You guys are from BTS kpop group from Korea. Great will watch did subscribe because of jungkook taehyung RM jin jimin Suga Jhope. They are the best famous guys on planet Earth. Just in case.
When i was teenage i said to my mom she can go vacation as she want with out worry about me just give enough money 7-11 nearby can provide food for me as long as i can pay.
it seems to me the pre-made packaged foods and snacks are better in thailand than USA. The convenience foods that USA 711s have suck anyway. The hotdogs on the roller grills are okay, but the hot pizzas and wings suck. Premade ham and cheese or turkey sammiches suck, tastes like I'm just eating the plain white bread, which is SO bland. The pastries and donuts also suck. Pastries and bakery items that are mass made in USA suck in general because they are mass produced and use shortcuts so they can pump them out in mass, which of course affects the quality and taste of the product. USA likes to sacrifice quality for quantity, which I find very disappointing.
(Sorry, long post. But maybe a little helpful?) Enjoy your reviews. I've seen four or five of them, now. But please, can you learn to speak without constantly saying "actually?" 😂 As you both use it, it's what's called an interjection. It's a verbalization that doesn't add any meaning to what you're saying. It is just a sound filler, like people who say, "like" and "you know" and "uh," all the time. It's quite distracting. Yes, there are times when "actually" is correct. Very seldom when you two say it, though, would qualify. You both have good presence on the screen and are quite well spoken...... normally. It is fun and appealing to watch you! You're both very likeable! But if I said "it's actually fun and appealing to watch you," it mostly suggests that I hadn't expected it to be, so it's a pleasant surprise to find out you are! (But if I didn't expect it to be....... why did I even bother to tune in?) Y'see what I mean? Sorry, it's an unsolicited critique from the Peanut Gallery, I know. But I like your channel and hope you can turn it into something huge! 11.6k subscribers now. Let's hope that decimal point can get pushed two places to the right! That might actually happen a little faster..... if...... you actually stop saying "actually" so much, actually! 😂 Cheers from a Yank in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, where my wife actually runs a hotel that is actually pretty nice and is actually reasonably priced! (Not naming the name so you don't think this is a plug for attention or a solicitation for business! Just one of two hundred hotels in the Kanchanaburi area! 😂) (Shhh. I can say to Americans that it's actually a MOTEL, cuz you'll know what that means! A lot of non-Americans wouldn't, though. 😂 😂) Cheers!
