Plus there is just something satisfying with being like a squirrel mafia boss…people bring you the Ramen packs and I would take it and “Squirrel” it away in a hidden spot near my cot…sometimes you gotta make bad situations fun with your imagination….

As a dude who works in prisons, James, I can confirm there are a ton of deaths in prisons, they just don't get reported until the hospital. There's a rule that basically skirts the rule- "As long as life saving techniques are being applied to the inmate, time of death can not be confirmed. Time of death can only be verified by a medical professional" If you walk in a cell and a dude hung himself and has clearly been dead for hours, you 'found him while he was still alive and applied life saving measures' and his time of death will be whatever time you get to the hospital and the doctor confirms it. Kinda sad, tbh. But at least I don't cum mud.

You could forgive 'off off' as someone repeating, either to quickly gather their thoughts which is fine, or, to keep the flow of the sentence which is wrong but surely something is just based off? (Even if it would be 'on'). Why the 'of' which is a completely different word with a different meaning. Makes zero sense.
