It's mentioned on the website that financial assistance for spouse would be given for maximum of 9 months. 3. Is the accompanying spouse allowed to work full time while they are in the UK? Serving back to country is a clause mentioned in the scholarship but it is still not very clear that whether home country will provide job with regard to it or not. I have seen few students who have taken No objection certificate and have started working in UK as well. 2). According to new UKVI regulations, research students can bring their dependents to UK however there allowance will be limited (that’s not concerning, check 3 point why) 3). The best part of UK dependent VISA is that they can work in UK full time so you don’t have to worry about your dependent allowance. They can do job here and earn decent pay. Hope this help. You don’t need offer letter for applying the scholarship at the moment. So apply for the scholarship and put the university name and later apply to the university for the offer letter. All the best 😊
