They wasted a decent amount of time letting the play clock run, they could've easily squeezed another two plays in there if they got the first. And the lack of passes was killing them as well since the play clock was constantly running. Dunno, if I was them I would've went for a time out, get everyone's head in the right place and go for the next play, run it, then go for a pass, then if you have time for another play or two, go for a field goal or go for a run and field goal. It's time management, they were lacking in it.

I grew up on this rivalry. My dad was ex-Navy (a QM), my uncle (who married into the family) is ex-Army (medic). They had some intense bets going on when the games used to be played over Thanksgiving weekend eons ago. I am retired Navy, and my brother is retired Army, and although not the intense rivalry of our relatives, we still jab each other every year supporting our teams. The Army team is quite strong this year (2018) with a great record, and I fear my Naval Academy team may take one on the chin (especially with the poor season we have had this year), but, keeping fingers crossed that the Midshipmen will pull it out and start another 15 win streak over the Black Knights.
