I am honest this deck does look a LOT of fun but just by looking at the plays, I wonder how many frigging “one of cards” you mashed together here? There seem to be so many one of bricks that make you sad if you draw them.
@@lifequality There's a lot of ways to get your one-ofs in GY in case you draw them. Mitsurugi Ritual, Mitsurugi Prayers, Snake Rain, Ogdoadic Zohah, and Alien Shocktrooper can all get your one-ofs in GY.
I knew i recognized a fellow snake fan good on you sir! I'll admit when i first saw the mitsurugi's i was underwhelmed, then the wheels started turning and it's now all i want out of SUDA. Might be too clunky but I'm gonna need to find a way to go Ogdoabyss involved too
@@TheSpiralCurse It's definitely spicy. You'd just have to make sure you special Futso from GY before you board wipe, or else you'll wipe your own Futso and won't be able to quick effect revive monsters from GY
Great job as usual good sir. With everything coming and announced including alliance insight, trinity box, supreme darkness and such if u had one deck to play with new upcoming support....what would u play ?
@@jaredricci9278 If I had to take a deck to a tournament right now, it's between Maliss, Kashtira Fiendsmith, or Labyrinth stun. It's really hard to tell if any of the new stuff can stop Ryzeal. My money would be on Blue Eyes primite if had to choose a new deck
@@alex62965 Thats a good idea, but Goblin Bikers don't really have much of an advantage against anything else sadly. The best new anti-meta deck will probably be one that can play going 2nd against a full Ryzeal and a full Maliss board.
Very nice combos! How do you feel about the lack of handtraps? Also, what do you think about other engines like Fiendsmith, 3x primite roar 1x alien shocktrooper?
Thanks bro! I honestly never felt like I needed more handtraps while playing. Going second you have a lot of ways to break boards like Murokumo board wipe, Zealantis OTK, and even Haggard and Echidna put in a lot of work too going second. Its nice to open 1 Imperm or Ash but I usually want all my cards to be gas. Also your quick play spells help you dodge targeting effects and handtraps, which means you can play through disruption, so you're not worried as much about stopping them from setting up. I do side deck more handtraps game 2 or 3 however. Fiendsmith only Conflicts with Nephlabyss and the Raika stuff so you can play it, but Im personally not a fan. Primite sounds super cool I hadn't thought of that one. It gets you a level 4 + disruption + hand trap bait so you can resolve your Snake Rains and Mitsurugi Rituals. I'd have to test it first, but I think it could work if you build your deck around it a bit.
i really love the new cards. i really hope the second wave wont be a letdown because i really dont like that their most efficient board is relying on floodgate turbo
@@trafalgarlaw5732 I side out Coatl sometimes games 2 or 3, but I think you should try to play 3x Level 4 extenders in this deck. Coatl is actually slightly better than Lizard as an extender, because if they hand trap Saji for example, you can summon Coatl right away and go into KOFI. Lizard however, needs a snake in GY to be a proper extender, but it's true value is opening up Link plays and bridging your Ritual and Raika lines. Basically, Coatl is for anti-hand trap, and Lizard is for higher power level. They both serve different purposes, but can also both be replaced. Especially if you're on Ryzeal or Fiendsmith
Of course bro! This video was focused on reptiles, because this is definitely the new best way to play the reptile version. However, if you want to play Fiendsmith its really easy. Take out all the Raika Link Monsters and replace with 1X Requiem, 1X Sequence, 1x Desirae. Take out Zealantis and replace with 1X Closed Moon Goddess. Finally replace Coatl, Lizard, Aaron, Zoha, and Nephilabyss with 2X Engraver, 1X Lacrima, 1X Lurrie, 1X Tractus. You can make room for another Desirae and the Fiendsmith trap if you want. Now that you removed basically everything that locks you into reptiles, you can do all the normal Mitsurugi/Ogdoadic combos, but instead of summoning Reptile Link Monsters, you go into the Fiendsmith Engine. You can even use Lacrima + Any Level 4 as XYZ material for KOFI, which gets you access to Mitsurugi. In the end, you should have Desirae + Mitsurugi Rituals end board, then follow up with Alien Lock and more Ritual plays next Turn if you can. I would experiment with these ratios and see where it takes you. Maybe you end up playing less reptiles, or more hand traps, it really depends on your testing.
I'm posting some replays right now in the Discord where I play thru Nibiru. Link in the description if you or anyone want to join! I mentioned it in another comment, but basically Nibiru is not the best handtrap against this deck, because it triggers all of your Mitsurugi monsters, and you can use the Nibiru token to make Echidna and keep playing
Interesting video but I absolutely could not stand the voice you're doing. I know you don't normally talk like that, so I'm not sure why you're choosing to do it but it really makes it hard to watch. otherwise good info though.
And here i,d thought mimighoul would was the strongest tcg exculsive deck well i stand corrected mitsurugi is the true strongest tcg exculsive konami has every printed
Its actually not that bad because Nibiru triggers all your Mitsurugi monsters. You will usually be able to summon at least 1 more Reptile after Nibiru, so you can use the Reptile + Nibiru Token to link summon Echidna, Echidna can then reduce Nibiru's ATK to 0 and search you any Reptile you need to keep playing. This is assuming Nibiru didn't tribute your Ritual Monsters which float and search. Nibiru is average against this deck tbh.
To Nib the Mitsurugi portion u will need another handtrap to stop Futsu to comeback after Nib and have to discard another card for the omni. IF u dont have way to deal with Futsu onboard, this guy can just revive the entire arsenal one by one when u play.
Am i the only one who really likes the combo videos but thinks the anime clips dont really add anything? i dont wanna hate but i dont fully get the point
Thanks for the feedback bro! I named this channel after one of my favorite anime characters. The anime clips are a stylistic choice meant to reference the channels anime-inspired roots. I told myself I wouldn't be just one of those combo channels that shows you a 2 minute combo in silence and that's it. I want the entire video to be entertaining, and I don't think many people wanna sit and watch just straight combos for 30 min. However I do understand that its not everyone's cup of tea, and I do appreciate feedback like this.
