I bought a bunch of these thinking I could make something cute with them and just never got around to it. Then I scoured Pinterest and RUclips for someone that had done something cute with them. I was thrilled to find your post! Thank you for the tutorial!
I think your ideas are great! I am new at scrapbooking, spent 43 years teaching ceramics and porcelain doll making. Did craft shows for about four years, but there was no interest.. I have been collecting my Scrapebooking suplies and making a craft area. Almost all done. I also do a lot of sewing and quilting. Now I am ready to dive into this craft. Thanks for your demonstrations.
You have such great ideas. I work at a school and we do Santa shop every year for kids to come in and buy stuff for family or friends and we try to have good stuff to sell and not expensive either and your ideas are perfect for our Santa shop.
My goodness, the little note pad is gorgeous. My granddaughter adores pretty stationery so I will show how she cd achieve this. I was thinking about a large size stretch hair bobble for the note tie. Really good job on the note books.
Just made a couple of these now books. Turned it so so cute. Wanna add a little more to the cover though. I had to it away the night. My 18 month old grandson is running around. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do to the cover anyway. Thanks for sharing your ideas. I've used several of them. Happy b-day again and happy crafting.
So cute!!! I made these and instead of cutting off that excess paper, I folded it back about 1 1\2" to expose the inside pattern and used and eyelet and seam binding as my closure.
What a cute idea. And it is simple, my kind of craft for sure. I plan to do a craft fair or two this season. I'm not sure how to find out about any that may be held during the spring or summer but I will keep my ears open. I will mainly focus on papercrafts but plan to try my best to offer a variety of items. Thank you again for organizing the die cut swap. It was a lot of fun.
Hi Deanna thanks for sharing your ideas I love your craft series I have my first craft fair this fall $3.00 sounds like a good price you are definitely a great inspiration keep your series coming can’t wait to see your next project
Cute design. I do craft shows at elementary schools where the kids shop for their family. I do a variety of crafts including paper crafts. Sometimes notebooks do well for me. I usually need to add the name "mom" , "grandma" etc to them.
Love it!! Two ideas: You might fall in love with a cheap glue stick. If you go over your score tape with it, you will have that sweet wiggle room on your side as your are placing your item. Wet glue works as well, but the glue stick is cheap and wrinkle free. 2nd tip: If you'd left the long side long, you could have folded the couple inches to create a pocket for receipts and such. I really love this! That paper pad is adorable!
I love this project. You have such great ideas. It is 5 degrees and snowing here today, so I am crafting. We do several craft fairs every year starting this Saturday. I enjoy all of your videos. I love to listen to you explain how to make things. Thank you so very much.
Magnificent! I would use a Velcro dot to keep it closed. In south Florida I would charge at least $8 each or 2 for $10. All my best and keep the ideas coming! You are fantastic
I live in a rural area that has no craft fairs. However, there is a church in my area that has one around Christmas. I have never done one but always wanted to. Just am not sure about displaying stuff. I do a per but also have a cri it and love vinyl You always mKe me want to try one
Hey Deanna! My husband and I do craft fairs in the later part of the year. I LOVE doing the paper items and am trying to learn how do do different techniques. What we are known for: clocks made from vinyl records (45's, LP's, 78's etc), CD's, 8 Tracks and also children's books. We have a little bit of everything at our table too! I try to develop one or two new ideas in the "off season". We normally do 4 or more craft shows per year. The most we did was 14 (YIKES). Hope you are having a great Ash Wednesday!!
Deanna, I do craft fairs and market every Saturday beginning May until mid December. I have been doing this for 20 years. I do paper, mixed media and my husband sells his oil paintings and handpainted wood signs. We travel all over Ohio and Indiana and just a couple in Illinois. I would be interested in your pricing for your area of your paper items. Thank you for all the ideas and inspiration. You my crafty friend are awesome and amazing. Blessings!
I like these a lot and think they will sell well at $3.OO. I will probably make some of these and add a velcro closure. Love the paper pad! Thank you so much for sharing :)
Doing a craft fair..cabin fever is the events name..Saturday March 9th. Yep..4 days out. Been sick so very behind on my paper crafts. But taking mini comp books, jewelry..leather bohos bracelets, wire wrap ones n rings, earrings, necklaces, keyrings n leather n metal beads n dreamcatchers. I have my first spring fling craft fair first weekend of may. I'll be having barbie doll, baby doll clothes, flower arrangements, hair accessories and jewlery. I had a gew hand made cards and a couple altered notwbooks that didn't do well for me, but I'm not going to gibe up on paper crafts just yet.
Oh wow!! I love it!!! I am doing a craft fair in March 30th . I haven’t done a spring one yet! I usually do paper items! I did decoupage tile for coasters and they did pretty well ! I never make much but it’s fun ! I am for sure making this!! Thank you ! 💕
Hi Deanna, they are super cute and I would pay $4-5 for a sweet gift for a friend, coworker, sibling, anyone. I like to have things like this on-hand in case I need something quick and inexpensive to give to someone. A teacher, hairdresser, mailman, UPS driver, volunteers at various places, church members, nursing home staff, the list is endless and a simple gift like this makes a huge impact and brings a big smile. Keep up the great crafting. TFS
My first time crafting and craft fairs. I have a combo of sewed items and paper items. Do not have any ideas as to how it is going to go. I have little girls hair bows. Gonna try koocker Ribbon bows too? Wish me luck please 🙋🏻♀️
I just love watching everything that you make. I do several craft shows. Your pricing is always good. I could sit and watch you all day. Test. Cindy/Carrollton. Maybe we will cross paths in a craft show.
Hi...Love these notebooks!!! I think $5.. I did my first craft fair in December and it was rained out and I haven’t decided if I will do one this year.
Deanna, I was told by a scrap book lady who gave classes that she always cut the center out of paper when you are building layers .....cuts down on weight in your albums ! I’m bad I have never used it ! What do you think? As always I love your crafts ,
Hi Deanna, I love these. I bought a bunch of them and wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do with them, but you just solved that problem. LOL. I think $5.00 is good. I have a question for you. When you are at your craft fairs, do you package these up? I was thinking because that they will all be different that people would probably want to look at the insides of these. If they are bagged up, they couldn't, and also as much as I live the twine or ribbon, again the same problem with not being able to see the insides unless untied. I know that people for sure want to see everything about the item before they buy it, so what are your thoughts? I definitely want to make these, but that would be my only consideration.
Did you know you can order items from Dollar Tree . Com? Some items there are minimum amounts that need to be purchased, that would be great for those that do craft shows. Not all items had minimum amts to be purchased. And you can have it delivered for free to the store.
Just a question the first score line you said was at 1/4 of an inch but the score you made was bigger? I love your tutorials thank you so much for sharing.
I love your videos but there's one thing that I have yet to understand. Why spend all that time and money making such a beautiful notebook cover then attaching the note book? I feel like if you had just made another pocket to slip the back of the notebook into, the cover could be used over and over. Otherwise, that gorgeous creation gets trashed when the paper runs out! I would want to keep the cover forever!!!! It's beautiful!!!!!

Hi Deanna thanks for sharing your ideas I love your craft series I have my first craft fair this fall $3.00 sounds like a good price you are definitely a great inspiration keep your series coming can’t wait to see your next project
The pad cost $1. I think it should be more.
A pretty edge punch, or an edge die, would be beautiful on the top flap. Makes it look fancier and therefore worth more money. 😺
Beautiful note pad. Very decorative. Nice on a desk.
Thank you
Cute as a button! In my area $3 is perfect. Love your ideas and videos. Blessings Jill

Great idea Deanna! 🥰I would say 4-5$ and maybe 6-7$ if you laminate the cover. Don’t forget you need to charge for your labor/time!
Thank you so much for your teaching style, love it! So easy for me to follow.

Love this Deanna! I can’t find those notebooks, either. This is sweet.
Instead of cutting off that last piece, why not fold it in and make a side pocket?
OOHHH LOL...I forgot! I love these! I think $3 is a good trial price but they should sell well at that price point!
Hugs Ms Norma!
Love It. Thank you for inspiring me to craft again
Aww thank you

$3 seems like your giving it away. Don't forget the pad was a dollar and you used at least $1 in paper.
True. But while she loses the dollar on this one, she can make it up on another craft item. Customers won't be willing to pay more than the $3.
Those are gorgeous. I think they will sell good. I'd say 5.00 lol
Thank you
So pretty
$6 each or 2 for $10
What kind of glue are you using?
What brand of scoring tape do you use? Thank you.
Home hobby brand from Tuesday Morning
Great idea! I was thinking $3.00 would be a good price tfs
Thank you
How do you find out where your craft fairs are???

@@CraftyCraftsByDeanna thank you so much!
I have a bunch of those packs of note books from dollar tree do you have a old tutorial I could see? thank you!
Look back in the beginning in my craft Fair last year and u will see many different tutorials
If I may ask, how much would you price them?
3$
I have found that they have Pre-decorated post-its. They are doing their own day's. :(
I think $4.00. I would buy one.
Beautiful love love does look sweet no not 3$ not lower 5$ comme on this took some of your time
But u can’t refill it?????
sorry I seen the information thank you!
$5.00

I think $5.00 or 2 for $8.00. I think you will sell out at $5.00. Good luck
you said your first score for the pocket is at a 1/4' and that is bigger than a 1/4" what is the actual measurement? Sorry!
I think she meant 4 inch
R
I would sell for $8 each and maybe 2 for $12.
You used a lot of paper. You need to make some money for all your hard work
