You’re the only one I found that tested this bike at full throttle and no pedaling, finally something I was looking for before I go purchase the bike, you are the only one that did this full test, thanks.
I've been a cyclist for years, but I had never tried an electric bike until recently. I have to say, I'm now a convert! I tried out an Addmotor e-bike and was amazed at how much fun it was.
August 2023 I bought one, Ecotric Cheetah 20, used it for almost a month and returned it for full refund. It may be okay for paved roads use but it sucked on gravel roads and smal hills and low difficulty trails. I have 3 other ebikes, all under $1,150 delivered, and this was the worst, at $730 delivered. Brakes are mechanical/cable and are noisy and weak, and wore down fast. Battery rattled too much in its holder and would break connection, causing lag, to total loss, and also sometimes shutting the bike controller off. The light minimally bright for off-road use. I would get 16 miles on a full charge with 95% throttle (very little pedaling, just to get up hills it would not handle). Customer service was helpful enough and didn't argue about the issues. Provided return label and said full refund would be issued. I used it for 3.5 weeks and put 110 miles on it. I would not recommend it, and instead would go with the Ridstar 20ah battery fat tire for $1,100 delivered. I have bought two of these, after testing one for 2 months. Amazon. Happy trails!
I don't like hydraulic brakes myself. These are not off-road motorcycles. I wish they had come with street tires, but they're easily changed. Solid built, fast, and fun bikes, I would never sell mine. 😃
The ebike looks exactly like my aostirmotor A20. Probably millions of these bikes come out of the same factory, with different stickers. These bikes are well worth the money, and built like a tank. 100% happy with mine. Very nice.
I plan on getting an e bike at some point in the near future. Glad yours is working well. That thing handled well one handed with your phone. Thanks for sharing your experience. 🤙
110 percent i score this! It is admirable what you have accomplished! Ah. I can see you have multiple series! All buttons i worked! Exchange is just a virtual courteous gesture of appraisal.
Thats a pretty cool bike and you're riding it around my old campus too! Id like to try an Ebike out one day. Seemed like everyone rode these when I visited Israel.
Yeah these ebikes are fun. You will definitely be hooked if you ever get one. There are so many different brands out there though but I just happen to choose this one for my liking and price range.
Great video recap there's definitely not a long list of 1-year bike reviews. Make sure you get some affiliate links, I was looking for yours! Get a nice commision for your efforts. thanks
The crake is high, i had to buy pedal extenders. Bike goes 28 mph, but 20 mph is legal speed limit, u can do speed control on your monitor. Had my 500w 2yrs.i love it. But bigger seat on as I'm 265 lbs
I got the same bike I’m going to do the front air suspension and BMX handlebars I’ve already got rid of the limiter it’s a little faster now just a little
I see you loved it lol, with the front brake indo!!! Had to come and check out your video. Is your seat aftermarket? Mine is ha! Love the highschool track you rode on. Where is that? Its beautiful.
@Gray Dog Adventures Hello, thanks for checking out the video. The seat isn't aftermarket but I think its fairly comfortable. The only aftermarket part are my front and rear lights. The school is near where I live. I'm in Maryland 🙂!!
Hi bob, this might be four months too late…… I am from Wollongong, and I bought a bike very similar to this but silver. I am 6’4” and a big unit and I fit on mine easy peasy. I bought a fortis fold up 20” fat tyre bike and got it for $799 plus $90 delivery. I saw the same bike advertised by dick smith yesterday for $699. Love my bike, except for the seat. Bought a comfier seat. Sorry if I’m four months late.
This is good to start with 500 W but if you’re looking for a little more speed you need 750 W 48 V a little more power a little more speed you can do that quarter mile in less than a minute guaranteed but of course you’re gonna pay a little more
750w is cool but this 500w I have is good enough for me. Going up hills is where I use it the most on electric mode. I try to ride for excercise mainly but will mix it up here and there.
@@venturelyfe I have the same bike so What I’m going to do is put the BMX handlebars on new BMX pedals and a front suspension air fork And change the gearing oh yeah a suspension seat I already disconnected the limiter and it goes a little bit faster I could do 24 now
@@djenkins555 Okay cool I'm glad you like it. I enjoy riding mine. I saw specs of the Dolphin version. Its a cool looking bike for the female riders. Happy riding my friend stay safe out there!🚲
I had the same problem the BMS blew out of the battery they’re gonna tell you you need a new battery but in actuality you need a new BMS which will cost you $15 all you need is someone who knows how to put one in
You’re the only one I found that tested this bike at full throttle and no pedaling, finally something I was looking for before I go purchase the bike, you are the only one that did this full test, thanks.
This was my first e bike about three years ago. Bought three others since but still love to take this out time to time. Really nice bike

Yes they can be really fun without you putting in much effort when riding or at all. Just throttle and go 🙂

They look identical. But Aostirmotor is a better choice because the motor is faster. A20 will go 25mph maxed at full charged.

Just ordered me one couple days ago. Can’t wait to receive it 🤝
Oh I see you're in the Baltimore/County area too! Especially relevant for me, since that's the area I'd be riding in! Thanks for the video!
Hello, thanks for watching. Enjoy your riding and stay safe out there!!
Thanks for the great review update a year on with the bike! Still a cool bike. Good show! 👍 👌 😍 👊 😊 🇬🇧

You won't be disappointed!
Was there a before and after test of speed on 100% throttle and also paced pedaling?
No I didn't do either test.

I love ebikes I have 6 of them lol
It's a beautiful ebike. It's exciting to bike🚴 like👍
Thanks!
Hi from Australia. Do you mind me asking how tall are you and if that has caused any ergonomic issues?
@Rob Bessell Hello Rob, I'm 5"11 and the bike give me no ergonomic issues. The seat is easily adjustable to suit your ride comfort.
Hi bob, this might be four months too late…… I am from Wollongong, and I bought a bike very similar to this but silver. I am 6’4” and a big unit and I fit on mine easy peasy. How tall is the bike. If you 5’5 can your foot be on the ground?
your foot will absolutely not touch the ground
It depends on your seat adjustment
@@venturelyfe it does not if you are under 5’8 your feet will not touch the ground on the lowest setting
How much range do you get on a full charge?
Range is 19 - 21 miles in electric mode and 33 - 36 in pedal assist mode.
I am 5 flat, is this good for short people?
Yup!
Hell Yeah! You sold me.

Engwe would smash that bike one on one, 750w vs 500w, you tell me.
Is this ebike worth it for first time user and is it super fast?
I think its a good first ebike. 20mph top speed.

@Venture Lyfe great ebike. Out riding today! My wife has the Dolphin.

@Venture Lyfe My friend, TJ, got a Sondor. Then, got his mom a Dolphin after testing my wife's out.
from watching your video, now I know why you took a spill on the bike and it set you back for awhile..
Anyone no why the bike runs then just shuts off

So if bms is bad wat all will it do to the battery
how fast max
20 mph
