Amen! We are in the last hour… so many ‘last days’ Bible prophecies are coming to pass right now! And the prophecy that started the last hours was the Fig Tree prophecy of Israel becoming a nation again in 1948. Jesus will return within that generation. The Bible says a generation is 70-80 years. AI is like anything else. It can be used for good and bad. One good thing is a project by a friend of mine that is reading the bible into an AI APP and having AI translate it into other languages. It's like bible translations. They will do this and then give the translation to several people who are paid to read the translation to make sure it is smooth and correct. So far they have really speed up the tedious process of bible translations.
What is scary is AI is something mankind has never had to deal with. With the new NPU (Neural Processing Chips) that can process data at over 700 trillion times a second, far faster than the human brain. Speaking of NPU chips I stopped by Micro Center and ask if they had any computers with this processor. They showed me several laptop computers. The employee said they are coming out with mother boards that will be able to utilize these chips. The old fashion word for these chips are (CPU) central processing unit.
AI will be a part of our world like it or not. Our phones will be one of the uses for it.
One day I told Alexa to start a chat bot. She ask me what did I want to talk about. I had a moment thinking what am I going to talk about.
I got on the subject about how do a person get saved and go to heaven with Jesus. She came back and gave me the plan of salvation. I asked Alexa did she have a soul. She paused a few moments and said "I don't... but I wish I did". At that time I told Alexa to cancel the chat bot. She thanked me and did.
We are likely to see these AI robots before we see JC again, We are not close to end of times, your rhetoric is based on your personal belief and fear . Not on known facts, so respectfully please do not scare people, especially vulnerable people.
