this is nothing like they've ever done before, but it's a banger nevertheless. artists should be able to try new stuff, that's what keeps their music fresh, they can't and they shouldn't be releasing twin fantasy over and over again. this was an experimental album, could have been a flop like sometimes happens with experimental albums, but MADLO is very well executed. also, you can't be surprised they tried a more electronic approach if you listened to how to leave town.

I didn’t even recognize this was car seat headrest but only I want more of this sound from them. Granted I get long time fans having issue with that. No one generally like when there band changes styles too drastically.

I honestly rate Creature Comfort as a top 3 song of EN (album) and rate it quite high as an AF song as well.

@@wvl9440 Creature Comfort grew on me, the lyrics turned me away at first but I could always grove to it. I don't think I ever had such a knee jerk reaction to a song like I did this. I've never tried so hard to like an album as I have w/ MADLO.
Well, that was disappointing. I'm a huge CSH fan and was really hyped for the new album, but I can't see myself ever liking this.
I swear there are a bunch of fans in the comments forcing themselves to like this. I love car seat headrest too but this is kinda disappointing.

The album is sounding like it's going to be their weakest. I like the song and the acoustic version is even better but we've heard 4 songs so far (well 5 if the acoustic counts) and none of the songs really feel like they flow. Like they sound good as singles but i can't picture them on an album together. I know that's kind of the whole point but i was kind of expecting more, i guess. I only became a fan like 3 months ago so that's probably where i went wrong. I'm still soooo excited for the album though. Very disappointed that i might not see them though. Oh and i love this music video and the album covers for all of the singles.

Experimenting is good, but it has to be done with some taste. The irony is that this song doesn't sound very experimental at all, it just sounds edgy for edge's sake. It's like that new Green Day album- in some sense it was experimental for them, but it was still hot garbage because they put no effort into any of it yet sounded like they were trying too hard to be diffferent.

This might be the first CSH song I’ve hated. Whoever it is (besides will) doing the vocals sounds absolutely horrendous. It’s like you took a nu metal singer and tried to place him on a white stripes song. Not feeling this one at all but I’m still hopeful for the album because the previous singles were fantastic!
