Honestly, them all hugging Piper was my favorite part of this, if you think about how all the races hated each other in the beginning. Seeing how they've become a family after everything was really nice.

Seemstazz this is literally why I love that scene it’s cause they have all been through so much
I liked that part of the scene as well, but the different races never really hated each other. They just tended to hang out with their own racial group in the old prison. Even when there was conflict, the cause of the issue generally didn't have anything to do with race for the most part. (Except for Sankey and her white power gang, and also when Janae got pissed off, that is. But there aren't THAT many times where someone's race caused their conflict.) Plus, there were a lot of friendly moments between characters of all races throughout the whole series. But one thing I liked about Seasons 6 & 7 was the fact that those cliques were broken up and we got to see relationships develop between characters who hadn't had a lot of interaction in the past. (Especially Suzanne and Pennsatucky. Those two were hilarious together.)

@Heather Althouse Laura wasn't pregnant. Her baby born the first day of production for season 6 and she came back to work 6 weeks after, hence in part why she doesn't show up until episode 4. She's said in interviews she was super sick with the flu when they did this scene. She pushed them to put the scene off because she was worried about giving it to Taylor because of the kissing but Taylor said lets go ahead and do it. Laura said there were tissues and cough drops everywhere off screen for her lol.
Finally... here they are... Nice to see them again... Alex and Piper... Nicky and Lorna...

Hahahaha this is the funniest wedding I've ever watched.
The way Piper rubs Alex's cheeks with her thumbs and then rubs all the way down her arms when she kisses her after Alex's vows.... my heart! Also love how she's answering Flaca's question while staring into Alex's eyes(it's those little things that they did that sets them apart from other couples and makes them feel so real!) ! Such a beautiful moment! But I need to see Alex get out and them have a real wedding and a new life together!

Laura's little baby bump popping out is adorable. It's always funny to see producers work around a pregnant belly. Shows this was filmed earlier in production of this season, and they gave her the arm sling when baby Ella was REALLY popping out. That's why she's such a beautiful bride here. Maternal glow is real.
