Tajin is good on any cut fruit...mango, watermelon, cantaloupe, any melon, pineapple. Tip: grill the watermelon and pineapple first then season with the Tajin. It's so good. Actually it's good on any grilled fruit but pineapple and watermelon are my favorite.
As a Mexican American please also put Tajin on fruit. Watermelon mango and pineapple especially. I promise you will not be disappointed. 😍🔥

My husband told me you can catch fish with canned corn and I thought it was the weirdest thing ever!!😂 It really does work!
So many things I’ve been meaning to mention. First and foremost about your chickens, I noticed that you save them bread scraps but not the Apple scraps. My chickens love apples. I also save eggshells for them. I Rinse them out quickly let them dry then crush them up. The chickens will use them that way, but I can also use them in my garden for slug and other pests. The chickens will actually eat grapes going soft, blueberries, pasta, meat, leftover eggs, etc so you may want to keep a bucket, bowl or small bin to toss into as you cook. It could really add variety for them and potentially decrease your trash quite a bit.
Now, about the sandwich bread. What you purchase is bread for sandwiches, which deems it “sandwich bread”, but...Sandwich bread is actually something different. It’s bread that is baked into a square loaf instead of with the Roundy humped top like your bread. It’s made that way so that the crusts cut off easily for fancy sandwiches. Call it whatever you want, who really cares? Not me. - I just think someone was telling you it wasn’t called sandwich bread & I wanted you to understand why.

Country gravy is super easy and quick to make from scratch. You more than likely have everything you need at home. We are starting to pick states to try new foods from.
The weather absolutely affects my mood and emotions. Overcast & anything that involves less sunlight for too long makes me feel worsened depression and anxiety. Drastic changes in barometric pressure gives me migraines

Do you ever do biscuits and gravy for breakfast? I love the pioneer woman’s recipe and buy the frozen great value biscuits. So good! And the leftover gravy is so so good on scrambled eggs!

For those commenting about bushels. Yes bunches are more commonly used, here in Northern Ireland anyway, but bushel, hand, salk or finger (one) is also correct.

Did she post or say if she like that stuff on her food someone suggested for her and if she be getting it on regularly grocery days or now and then for her self or make her family try it .
Broccoli casserole in the south: Broccoli, mayo, cheddar cheese, eggs,
cream of mushroom soup. Stir it all together bake. You kids will love it. Then the south has broccoli salad: fresh broccoli, carrot match sticks, raisons, red onion. Ans slaw dressing wet as you want it.
Hi Dougherty Dozen! I’m a long time fan- and I saw you buying the corn in this video that isn’t husked. Alicia, you wondered out loud to yourself, “is it called husking my own corn”? And it brought back a memory from my own childhood - and a hot tip! We called it husking to pull the green part off. And the adults did that part when I was a kid. Then they’d put the corn into bins of water and hand them over to the kids for “silking” - Aka pulling the silks out. If you have any soft baby brushes or baby DOLL brushes, that’s the best way. . Your kids might enjoy removing the silks with their baby brushes (I did! The key is soft soft bristles). Just show them to “brush the corn long ways” and use the water in the bin to help rinse as they go. It’s pretty “country”, but I swear it works! Thanks for the great content 💜💙❤️!

I love watching your videos. Makes me want to foster a child but no one will allow me to because of my illness. I have one biological child but he is an adult now. Are the supermarket's products good for curls and afros in the US? Maybe a beauty supply store would have better products? They can be more expensive, but will also last longer and it's ok if the family can afford it.
Idk kids hankerings probably change every so often. I get that too, some weeks I want a certain food and then the next week I refuse to touch that food
Also maybe consider growing some green onions. Save the bulbs and plant them in soil. I’ve started growing them like a month ago and it’s low maintenance. And the green onions are doing perfectly fine!

Hi From Germany, respect to you for feeding so many kids, but I have to say I am somewhat shocked about the amount of plastic wrapping, especially for a lot of the vegetables that don‘t really need it. Here in Germany we have reusable cotton nets for various veggies and fruits. With so many kids I get that it is convenient to get things like Broccoli that is already cut up, but the amount of waste, oh my goodness…

My best friend that lives in Lodi New York I live in Cleveland Ohio and she always told me that she was going shopping at Wegmans, it was not until I saw your videos that I understand what Wegmans was. I just assumed that it was a teenyr tiny local grocery., Now every time she says she went to Wegmans, I tell her , aww man, I can't believe you went to Wegmans without me😂😊❤
