    Is the "nozzle" that goes over the valve deeper than on the D2? I don't like using the D2 on presta valve because it's making contact well before it's connected enough to get a reading. The tire drop several psi every check because of this. If the nozzle is deeper on this gauge, it sounds worth the investment to me.

    Can you use this for a shock pump

    I have a D2 and I found it to be the best forks psi "controller". After pumping the forks, I do a quick psi check with the D2 and the forks only lose about 1 psi or less. That way, I can use the D2 to reduce the forks pressure one psi at a time. Try doing that with the hard to read gauge that come with shock pumps! I wonder if you can do the same with the new one since it needs to be locked.

      You don’t have to lock it on. So it might work for you.

      My shockpump does 1 psi drop per press anyway

    Good video. As European I can help - kg/cm2 is kilogram by square centimetre - this is almost a BAR (0.980665 ). This PSI is weird for me :)

    So the resolution is 0.5 psi? My OCD is trying to decide if that’s close enough - def better resolution than my old eyes and a dial gauge. 🤔

    • @RunBikeMike
      @RunBikeMike  Год назад +1

      Lol yeah it seems to read at 0.5. I say close enough for me at least. I am not sure I am skilled enough to feel the difference in even 1 psi. 😂

      When you ride a fatbike at pressures like 5-10Psi, +/-0.5Psi matters!
