Antifreeze Murder Retrial - WI v. Mark Jensen - Day Three

  • Опубликовано: 13 янв 2023
  • Mark Jensen was charged in 2002 for the 1998 death of his wife Julie Jensen and convicted in 2008. Prosecutors say he poisoned his wife with antifreeze and then smothered her with a pillow when she wasn't dying fast enough. In 2013 a federal judge overturned that life sentence, arguing a letter Julie had written before her death shouldn't have been admitted as evidence. In that letter, Julie wrote that she was afraid her husband would try and kill her. Jensen will now face trial for a second time in January 2023.
Reminder: The defendant, Mark Jensen, is wearing headphones because he’s hard of hearing. Thanks.

This man also relayed the conversation to his wife on the phone during several calls. Mark even told this man the actual manner of killing his wife with antifreeze! And a month later, mission accomplished. A sociopath if ever there was one. If only an eye for an eye was a punishment, I would serve up a big glass of antifreeze for this monster to drink. 😡

This is the Judge I want to see Darrell Brooks face in the Milwaukee case where he ran over Erika. Dorow was the perfect Judge for Waukesha as she was firm but reserved enough to let him act out and make a fool of himself on the record. Brooks pretty much sealed his own fate and the fate of any appeal with his outbursts, threatening of the Judge, DAs and witnesses, and his misstatements of the law.
This Judge would be hysterical with Brooks as his own lawyer. I don’t think Brooks would blow up nearly as much but the first time he accused this Judge of bias or judicial misconduct, the Judge would jump over the bench and beat him in open court 😂

I know we are going back to 1998; that kind of confusion and inability to answer makes sense. I do not understand why the state does not make sure the witnesses have a copy of their earlier testimony so that they can refresh their memories.
The defense lawyer was so rude and challenged the judge so harshly; I was astounded. He sure handled himself well.

It looked like someone was being disruptive in Court or doing something they should not be doing in Court and the officer noticed this and so was perhaps waiting for judge to say something but didn’t? I think the defendant just probably noticed it too and so was looking around at officer to see if he was going to do anything. The officer seemed to be mouthing something to another officer and didn’t really give defendant eye contact. The defendant seems to stare at many people in the Court room. All a guess but that’s what I think is most probable scenario.
