Interesting to see how the song evolved. I like the acoustic guitar section, but in other respects the final version is definitely better - vocals, harmony vocals in the chorus (which I love), arrangement etc. Still the best thing I’ve heard this year 😀
It sounds like you are singing to the upper limit of your voice and I can hear a level of strain. So I think you were right to lower the register in the final version
However in this version I like how you added the word "me" after singing I just don't want to be. It is funny really because I thought you singing "me' into the guitar solo on the finished version would have been kwl too, and I had this thought before listening to this version.
I also liked the acoustic section in the middle of the demo too, thank you for sharing 🙂
