When I saw this I gasped omg lol Mischa I cannot thank you enough for visiting my town, it means so much to me! I started watching your videos while you were making kodama and you inspired me to make the town I always wanted and your hacking tutorials made it possible! p.s the room in Haku's house was Zeniba's house and Sophie's room was supposed to be the one from inside the castle! also wanted to say to anyone else visiting that the clothes laid out are set up so you can walk around as Howl, Tombo, Mei, the bratty witch from Kiki's delivery service or Sophie (as close as I could get with the available clothes lol plus some extra things).

the room with all the knitting gear is from grannys house! when Chihiro, noface, the baby (that was turned into a mouse) and yubaba's bird (who was turned into a baby crow) all went on the train and left the bathhouse in order to return granny's charm that haku stole! She gave them tea and cakes while Chihiro sat and tried to remember Haku's real name. Then Haku came to get them as a dragon and she remembered that he was really the spirit of the kohaku river was while she was riding him back to the bathhouse! Granny also gave her that shiny purple headband as a reminder of her friends and her time in the spirit world.
Her name is Seniba :) Yubabas twin sister

WOW! This is the best Animal Crossing town I have ever seen, it must of took them forever to do. I don't know if they done this by memory or they looked at pictures to help them but I like how every house in this town is from a Studio Ghibli that I've watched, I remember first seeing these movies when I was younger and seeing the Spirited Away made me so happy since it is my favorite Studio Ghibli movie but all the other houses are amazing. I give this Animal Crossing town a 10/10 :D

I'm pretty sure the room at 25:35 is Zeniba's(Yubaba's twin) house. The spinning wheel is a reference to when they made that friendship hair tie together.

For the Bath House, I wanted to point out how perfect the music records were in parallel to the movie scenes. I visit this town everyday and just leave the DS on while in there. Super great job to the town creator, I’m in awe!!!!

Oh no!! You missed haku, he was standing outside when you left the bathhouse. I went to this town myself and the other town residents were somehow turned into scenes from some movies too, like the one down at the beach is porco rosso!
I plan on visiting this town with my 6yr old. We love Studio Ghibli and she loved watching me play animal crossing so this is perfect!!

The shoes in the water are probably purposefully put there. In My Neighbour Totoro there are some shoes in the water which leads people to think that someone has died

Hello Mischa! I would love for you to visit my newly complete town, Prospect. It’s a sleepy suburban town (set at 9PM in autumn) overrun by the resident bored rebel kids.
The north half of town is the main square, and the southern half is the residential area. To the northeast is an abandoned mine where the rebel kids sometimes hang out (even though the adults say it’s dangerous.) But if you REALLY wanna party, head to the northwest, as the kids have completely overtaken the forest clearing. :D
Mayor November is the biggest troublemaker in Prospect- she’s taken over her old tiny family house, built right above an abandoned train station from... like, 2002 or something. ;)
Her friend August is much more mellow. An aspiring musician, he’s doing whatever it takes to get out, even if it means running the convenience store on his own and renting out the closet- I mean, apartment- above it.
There are only 5 rooms total between the houses but I like the top floors of their houses the best. My tumblr is hip-essence.tumblr.com so you can credit me there if that’s ok. Thank you! :)

Around minute 26:00 the room on the right you weren't sure what it was referencing; It was Yubaba's Twin Sister's room in the Swamp where they headed at the end of the Movie, the rat on the shelf was the Baby turned into it !! Its where Chihiro got her headband from, they sewed it for her :)

This town is so gorgeous! (seeing mei's shoes in the river made me sad though. bravo for the detail though). I loved the Totoro refs and interiors cause that was my first ghibli movie. I still have it on vhs.

Summary: Welcome to the town of Aquarine! The small seaside town is located on the outer coast of the Olympic Peninsula, about 50 miles from the town of Cerulean and 75 miles from Clover. There’s also free camping in the campground for any perspective citizens. Along with the Mayor, Nicola, there are two other human residents in town. Tom, who's kind of a reformed grump, and Luna, the resident witch. Nicola has the typical ‘moved to town and got confused as the new mayor’ back story, however, Tom and Luna have different stories. Tom's father is a big oil company mogul, intent on buying the town, and originally sent Tom there to scope the place out. But, then the mayor bewitched him with her bubbly personality, and he decided to stay in town for good. He's in the process of becoming a better person (despite what you might find in the basement). Luna has a Kiki's Delivery Service type background. She's in the middle of her witch training and lives in a tent in the town's campground. Her familiar is a golden retriever named Hopkins (based on a dog my family used to take care of)
Hacked?: Yes. Mostly for touch ups. A lot was done without hacking, but there were a few things I’d always wanted to do that could only be hacked.

The room that you couldnt figure out was zenibas house. It was when chiriho and no face went to yubabas sisters house to return the stolen item haku took. No face ends up staying and helps her sew thats why there was some sewing stuff in the room.

I think the shoes in the river was referencing Chihiro’s shoe when she lost one in the Kohaku River (Haku before Yubaba took his name). Also the room in the Spirited Away’s house is Yubaba’s sisters house I believe.
