This is amazingly precise dancing. It would be good to see a few simple combinations as well. It is really quite brilliant.

Collecting your feet in preparation for the next figure is part of the figure. Isolating figures like this is enough of a distortion of a continuous art form without cutting off the follow-through.

You confusing International Style & American Bronze Foxtrot. In American Bronze (Social) you close your feet at the end of every figure. International Foxtrot is different.
