Sister your analysis is so right. In short, if you don't want to get into the UK's systems, and its society, Simply don't move there. Such types of videos will NEVER stop the ones who want to move to the UK.
I live in #China and here too, as a Pakistani Muslim, there are challenges. But I realized that it is far better than the #UK. Security is 100% intact. Hospitals are not that much crowded and we get instant appointments. The only disadvantage found is that there is NO NATIONALITY (passport) for other country people. I wish all EXPATS in UK the best of luck. Keep fighting, you are a better place than Pakistan at least.

It sounds like you are literally speaking out from my heart. Being an Australian (moved to Pakistan in 2012) I can relate to every word. Being Muslim with two beautiful daughters, life was like a hell (financial problem? nay.. I am a certified physician) Alhamdullillah I moved to Pakistan, From that moment till now I love every second of my life , live in my ancestors' village, high up in the mountains, cultivate a small land, have a couple of livestock, hangout with friends, Bar B Ques with cousins, dance with neighbours (Tribeswala Raqs), Ramadhan, Eid and what not. Blessings blessings blessings. Yes there are power outages, security issue/theft/snatching ( very rare compared to urban areas). Small ailments or major health issues the whole village is there to support, what else I want. Ready to slit my throat for this country, this is the real Jannat. The only real sorrow I feel when I see my Pakistanis suffer, else I am more than satisfied.

A country like Pakistan is a great blessing for us Muslims. But unfortunately, we can tolerate all kinds of difficulties, worries, violence and oppression by living in other countries happily or unhappily, but when it comes to Pakistan we make it so big. May Allah keep my country safe, Pakistan will remain forever. Inshallah

I am living in London for the past 38 years. We never had any challenges until mass immigration problem and Covid occurred, which has made life difficult for everyone. London has so many Indian, Pakistani, Nigerian, people from worldwide, and other European students/workers who bring their add on families, which has burdened our NHS, Schools, housing, and other infrastructure. I wish we could go back in the 80s and 90s.
The challenges you mentioned are part of life, maybe life is mechanical but we were happy, had holidays abroad, all of us are used to the weather, we have 4 to 5 generations of extended families surrounding us, no chance of lonliness or depression etc.
Due to mass migration, our kid's future looks bleak now! We had religious freedom, Al Hamdullilaah.
Please think carefully before coming here, as things are becoming tougher here, which I absolutely get it!
    Love my country ❤

I lived in London for 8 years and just moved to Middle East. I agree with most of the things you said like lgbtq issues and all but the health system is much better in the UK. Here in the Middle East they only know how to make money in hospitals. God forbid you end up in the hospital for any issue, you will walk out with an empty pocket with the wrong diagnosis.

    - Having lived in the UK for a year, I wholeheartedly echo my sister's sentiments on the challenges of life here.
    - Many individuals regret their decision to move to the UK, feeling that it has cast a shadow over their lives.
    - While future generations might adapt, the current generation, myself included, grapples with significant difficulties.
    - Every passing moment is evaluated in terms of the pound, reflecting the pervasive influence of money on daily life.
    - The relentless pursuit of wealth consumes everyone's time, leaving little room for other aspects of life.
    - Life is a one-time experience, and finding genuine enjoyment in the UK seems elusive, particularly for students.
    - Those who accept and navigate these challenges are the ones truly deserving of a warm welcome in the UK.

Dear beta ge you are one of those very few Pakistanis who has brought out these facts and problems while living in UK! Actually most of the people have the financial gains in view and for them these aspects of life don't matter. From majority of our people earning money is most important thing in life and they are willing to ignore and forget about these harsh realities of life. In fact most of people don't even have any idea about these aspects so there's a mad race to leave own mother land and go abroad to raise their standard of life in physical terms. And they can't be blamed either because they're so hard pressed that they prefer to leave the country at any cost and forget about these finer aspects of life!! God bless you! ❤

Sister Zainab, I got a chance to watch your remarkable vlog about UK life. I am a Canadian resident since more than two decades. And I can relate your daily life issues with the Canadian society problems. It's almost the same what we as a first generation feeling & facing. Around 10 years ago Canada was a dream destination for new immigrants. But sadly not anymore ! Especially post COVID things here has becomes worse. Being Muslim things are more challenging for the parents & school going kids. Teaching of Same-sex & LGBT curriculum in schools is the government top agenda. Mostly government policies here are baseless & useless for common people. Police department not that effective & efficient as shown in movies. Politicians here are not different than third world countries.
All destruction and failure of system is due to the higher numbers of immigrants coming here. Politicians are just making their parties vote bank instead given new comers a better & affordable life. A lot of research and knowledge about everyday challenges is required before making any plans to move UK or Canada. Otherwise this dream will be a bitter experience of someone's life. There's a famous sayings about it. دور کے ڈھول سہانے

You didn’t mention about the high taxation rate, if you’re a good earner group a big chunk of your salary will go into tax.
Plus if you’re new and applying for immigration, the fee has been increased significantly recently, and energy prices have also increased, house rents/ mortgage rates are also rising, so in the end you are struggling to manage your monthly budget.

Thank you Sis for speaking the truth. A lot of people even in the Brit Pakistani community. Don’t highlight these issues and show their lives to be very luxurious. In actual reality they are suffering from the problems you have mentioned, knowing this they still don’t want to open up to the reality they themselves are facing. That’s because they have been taught. They make relief fairytale words that they have built up in their brain. Constantly trying to compete and show others they are better off when they themselves are in the same situation as the one they are talking to.

Some alternatives to the problems mentioned:
    1) You can send your children to Islamic schools which are way better in terms of the information they are exposed to. Though, a Muslim country like UAE, KSA, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, etc, would be better to avoid that concern.
    2) There is not a single Western or European country that is crime free. I guess countries in Middle East like UAE and Qatar would be the best in that (as per the official stats as well) but there might be other countries which are safe. As for the corruption and bribery, that is everywhere as well but the extent varies from country to country.
    3) Depression is there because your family is not there and that is something that mostly depends on the person. Some people like to hang out more and make friends more than others. If you're a boring person, you will get bored even in UAE or Pakistan or in your home country.
    4) I agree that appointments are quite late but at least it is free and not like Netherlands where you pay for medical insurance every month by law and you cannot directly go to emergency unless referred by your GP or reached by ambulance or not dying. Also, in Netherlands, you have to pay for child delivery unless referred by your midwife which only happens in case of complications.
    5) I agree with the weather. It is really bad both in UK as well as in Europe (excluding countries on the South like Spain and Portugal, etc). It is grey, cloudy, raining, windy, cold and depressing. By the way, rain clears the air as well so you don't see too much fog or smog. Obviously, it is because of the nature and more trees and plants. But I would like to say that there is no bad weather, only bad clothing and you can still enjoy this weather but yes, sun is always better.
In my opinion, Australia is better in many ways, especially in terms of level of happiness, size of houses and weather (more sunny and more moderate) but again it has its own cons and no country is perfect.

Uk is white people’s country, their laws , rules and regulations are for their own nation not to support foreigners.
No matter what you say about Uk , people will still be tempted to go to England .
One thing is definite, east or west, home is the best.
As far as health , hospital and doctors are concerned, you are 100% right, there’s no easy appointment available with GP and even in some cases it takes a month to make an appointment.
It’s up to the people whether they still want to come to England or not but one thing is definite, you are not accepted in the society.

Respected Zainab, once I was a student in the UK, yes life is busy and opportunity is there, People are very busy, and the crime rate especially white-collar crime is very high. Basically, they are empressed and follow capitalism. All these scenarios which you have mentioned are definitely in the UK, but you are in the UK and living in this country for a better future. Please note that "never give up". Stay blessed.
