Great transmission choice, even better clutch choice! I’ve been using McLeod clutches for many many years and love them. Can’t wait to see the car out ripping again!
Just did this same swap a few months ago, hope it turned out well for you. I was not overly impressed with the Tremec shifter, swapped it out for a Steeda Triax shifter. Also, heat transfer was a big issue. Used heat insulation on the tunnel side to overcome this.
Yeah the tremec shifter is okay for what I’ve been doing so far, I do see myself upgrading when I can. My car is completely gutted with cage so the heat is just part of the game
Did you do an MGW at the same time? I miss my T56 I had in my 03 GT!! I broke 3rd in my MT82 a couple years ago, only a few months after I broke and replaced the clutch, so I couldn’t justify doing the magnum swap at the time. Wish I did now.
Almost the same shit happened to me and my 2011 😂 driveshaft came loose at the trans and got wedged between the shifter and trans tunnel. Didn’t bother checking cuz I was positive it was the trans. Ordered the t56 swap from JPC and then found out it was just the driveshaft
Can anyone help me? I just did the T56 xl swap kit on my sons 2017 GT modern driveline swap kit what a nightmare two weeks and still not right. The reverse lights not workin or reverse camera this is with supplied bowler harness. Mechanic said ask for a new Tremec light switch must be bad from factory. Modern driveline giving me grief does that rear light switch also activate backup camera? I have power going to it as tested. Also tried to do a relearn at friends garage wouldn’t let me tried 5 times,son has a Lund tune tried going to stock and car locked him out of starting reinstalled mt82 Lund tune just to get it to start another $250 for new T56 tune today see if that can get us into a crank sensor relearn. Seems like tune is blocking ,e from a crank relearn and my check engine light popped up for crank sensor. This was not a plug and play easy install at all.
Sorry man, I didn’t even touch the wiring. Have you tried messaging the company who sold you the kit? Maybe they have a tech department that can assist you with this?

She’s on a 1 week break in period about 10 mines a day with excess disengagement. We’ll be at the track Saturday 1pm

What first gear ratio and final drive is that? What mph rolls is this good for?
@@ivanfedyshyn7211 this car we were using 3.55 but the t56 was super lazy. You’re probably gonna want a 3.73 or 4.09 for rolls
@HandTightRacing so I got a TR6060 swap kit with aluminum driveshaft. It has 4 bolts on both sides. Did your driveshaft came with adapter?
