Oh my gosh! That was me, too! It came out when I was about 8-9s old. My Mom remarried and we moved out here in 1968 . I believe the song came out in 1968 to 1969. I first heard it when we were on a boring family vacation driving. I don't know how I got my parents to listen to the radio. They were playing this song all the time! If it wasn't for Sugar, Sugar and my pile of books from the library I think I would have died ❤
