I like that song you were playing for our demonstration. An easy tune to play for a beginner like myself. Thanks for sharing info on how to record sax.

I didnt see any foam in that room to cut the clipping. Doesn't the sound bounce between the wall and corners?

If its a filled room there good you don’t really need foam at all and natural echo is always good because it adds a level of realism onto the recording

Lots of fluff and generalization without any specific recommendations for mic types, interface details or even examples of recording software.

I play indian classical flute , what do u suggest dynamic or condensed ???

Condenser would be better because it is more sensitive to sound than a dynamic, and would help bring the detail and color that you will want. Dynamics are more robust and can handle louder instruments at the cost of sensitivity/accuracy.

No mention of brass players. If they are calling a saxophone they are incorrect no matter how popular a term this is.

what the purpose of this video? both of you just talk

You talk about how "easy it is", yet the alto saxophone recording has lots of room for improvements.

Did the video say it was a pro level tutorial? No. It was a 'how to get started' video. Perfect for what it was, and I thought the alto sounded quite natural and well balanced in the mix (eq/compression etc)

How about some brand and model names otherwise the whole vid is kind of pointless and not useful at all. For example does it have to be a MAC ?
