I could be wrong but I think you only have to reach 3 stars to unlock the map. Regardless, I feel your pain. It took me several attempts to get it.. I've seen a few good posts on reddit that offer map layouts that people used along with tips that might help
The thing is there's also the embryonics facility and aviary. Even with mods the aviary is still untouchable and this was done on console so the map featuring them is a lot smaller anyhow. Feel free to build on whatever map you see fit though!

This was done on a current gen console. So Xbox series x/s, PS5 and PC allow the use of all buildings. Unfortunately the older consoles are limited to one era
@@SeanBuildsParks fantastic, I already mentioned this but when it got to making the lake where the raptor escape in the field got cramped, which is my fault because I put the facility too much to the right(closer to the Aviary) which made it cramped and by the time I realized it was too late going back because I would have to move the small mountains, the field, the fence, etc but overall amazing! Having real fun, im at the end of part 2 right now 😁

It literally appears as though it's just a few large enclosures plus the dimetrodons in the cave which is impossible to build without mods and even then I don't know how good it would turn out

There sure is. When you're in sandbox go to settings and turn scientists and research off. Every dinosaur should be available and I believe whatever else you've unlocked in other modes should be there too

This is Nublar '93 but either way I had to beat the chaos theory levels to unlock the corresponding maps

The option is available on current gen consoles and pc. If you have an older console you're out of luck unfortunately..

Essentially it's the creative preset with all buildings selected. I usually make sure starvation/dehydration is turned off for all dinos as well

With the dimetrodon you should build a enclosure and surround the outside with large rocks so it's sorta hidden

It is indeed next gen but I get crashes a lot when I'm recording specifically but in general it's a pretty consistent issue
