What a really good blog its nice to see people out at the bars whatching the races in the sun in benidorm not here in the rain in england keep safe and keep smiling
I'm here since Tuesday last week going home Thursday I've been blessed with weather and amazing atmosphere buzzing? Your doing well 👏 job carry on sweetie x
There’s talk that a lot of hotels in Benidorm are going to scrap all inclusive due to it being unsuitable with the cost of living crisis etc. Also staff don’t like it as they don’t get so many tips as when it’s pay as you go drinks. Also all the food wastage etc.
@@ELPaso1990TX I live here and know people that work in hotels and the service industry and I've not heard anything about that. As the cost of living/expense to businesses goes up, so does the cost of hotel bookings of any kind, which is what many people on the Benidorm pages are saying they're finding this year.
@@sharonbell1094 I’ve spoken to people who’ve been to All inclusive hotels and they say that it was great 15-20 years ago but the food and drink quality has gone downhill a lot, there’s a lot more wastage. Many would prefer just to go back to pay as you go drinks & snacks if it means better quality food and drink. AI is very expensive for hotels so to cut costs they use the lowest quality ingredients even as booking prices rise they still struggle to break even. Eventually the price goes up so much that a week in Spain is not much cheaper than a week in the Caribbean! So something has to give they don’t what booking fees to be too expensive so all inclusive will be gradually cut back until it’s no longer there. I’ve worked in hotel and catering and know how it works. Having guests pile food onto a plate and not eat it is part of the problem too and if the food is poor quality they’re more likely waste it. Also staff work a lot harder in Al inclusive hotels, so how do they feel when a guest leaves a plate full of food when they struggle on their meagre salary to feed they family? Also they don’t get tipped because AI guests don’t often carry cash or that’s their excuse anyway for not tipping and if the foods poor they’re even less likely to tip. We’re all living in very dire times not like in the late 90s early 2000s the years of plenty when AI started, this is now I’m just surprised AI has lasted so long.
hi Lucy WOW!!!! never seen Benidorm Rockin like this - I have heard many people discussing in the UK their Cheltenham plans not at the actual races but in Benidorm - "why not go to the races" I asked now I know why it's a racing paradise - I wonder Lucy if there will be a lot of people come over for Royal Ascot in June?? & finally a question from my husband is there any bookies over there???
Hi yes there's lots of bookies, the 12th man that was last on this video has one right next door. royal ascot isn't anything like this week but plenty of bars show the races 👍
Not so much a comment on your - as usual - fantastic vlog, but I was wondering what to have for breakfast this morning, and I wondered what a multinational breakfast could be orchestrated and put on the table, when you consider the number of different people who go looking for breakfast in the morning….. Over here we’re used to the 4 corners concept; black pudding or haggis from the midlands or Scotland?; bread from Birkenhead or Wales?; But! How about a Truly Typical Benidorm feast? Take one element like tomato on toast and build a number of meals to reflect the countries who frequent the “beautiful B” as I like to call it! …….and the beverage to go with it, too! Comments?
Hi lucey watching on cath up l am here for Patrick week my nephew and his wife live here there watches u all the time would u say hi to jason and Marian from Marie thank,s lucey ,xxx
And people should be spending their money in Britain for their holidays rather than EU Spain. In our caravan site we’ve had to disappoint 12 members of staff who won’t have a job this Easter because there’s not enough guests, but more than enough in Benidorm. Brexit was supposed to be all about looking after our own country.
Not been funny n its lovely to see people enjoying themselves but never seen so many there at this time wondering if younger ones work and how somany get time off work to go talk about cost of living crisis 😮
All very nice but what about spending your money in your own country? In the UK pubs are closing on a weekly basis, our seaside towns are suffering hotels closing, tourist attractions closing. Britain voted to leave the EU but you still come to Benidorm with your Union Jacks and feed the Spanish EU economy. Is that being patriotic? Try working in a British seaside resort not knowing if and when the caravan site you work at will close down and 40 people out of work many unable to pay their mortgage or rent. Sure it’s nice in Spain, but what about your own country. Love Britain, spend your money in Britain.
I think there lies the problem... many British don't love Britain at the moment. Most Brits i speak to don't have many good things to say about the country right now. It's sad, I'm British and still love visiting the UK, but i haven't lived there for a long time.
Who in the right mind would holiday in England. Benidorm has lovely weather cheap beer and good and the hotels are spotless, and the beaches are the best in Europe.
We do both , but this is focused on Benidorm? I support my local pubs maybe not good enough because I'm only a part time 'piss head' , I've got a job to do?! 😂
@@ELPaso1990TX And look how leaving the EU is turning out for you. Not very well judging by your initial comment. Perhaps complain to the politicians rather than the people just trying to get on with their lives and take a little enjoyment from Benidorm that they can't get in Britain.
😊Never seen benidorm like this during the day. three cheers for benidorm fantastic to see 👍🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻thankyou Lucy
We’ve been watching it round on the seafront. Never seen Benidorm so busy. Normally come in the summer and this is absolutely nuts. Great video.

It sure is 🎉

I would rather have diarea than be in Benidorm
I’d rather you learn to spell.
And yet here you are watching... thanks 🤣
Try spelling correctly.
You don't have idea what's going on in Benidorm. The city it's not just the new town it's bigger than that walk about.
@@LucyYoungTBETo be honest ,the reason lots of us watch is for pure entertainment

Yes but Benidorm is situated in an EU country and we voted to leave the EU. Maybe if Spain leaves the EU then it’s ok.
